It is wise to use Whois.sc to find out where a domain is registered Before you bid in the auction. This will help you keep domains all in one place, or atleast a couple places.

Now this will not work if you back order a Pending Delete domain and you are the lone back order, because whatever registrar captures the back order, will be the sponsoring registrar.

Snap is partnered with 100's of registrars and the reason behind it, is so they can catch so many domain names when they drop.

Sadly this is the case with SnapNames using different Registrars...

One of their Biggests jokers I've come accross is Domain Monkeys, LLC

No control panel, no record of your domains....A bunch of monkeys ....Not user friendly at all.

I am having Monkey problems since 2002. I suggest you move your domains out of this shit hole ASAP.
