If you are new to domains and looking to buy, sell and learn about domains then you have come to the right place. DNForum is the largest domain name community on the internet and continues to grow every day. There are over 105,000 domainers on DNForum doing everything from buying domains, selling domains, learning about domains and discussing domains. Take a minute and Register.
Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!I registered a lot of domains with Yahoo, and it seems the month a group of them are due for renewal, my card was "auto-charged" for the domains.
So, a bunch of charges come through on one day. I tried turning off this "auto-renew" feature, and after spending a prolonged period of time on hold and arguing with Yahoo! domains tech support who lovingly pointed out the "fine print"...which presumably, I was too stupid to notice.
I was informed if I wanted to turn "auto-renew" for a domain off, I would have to cancel my domain. In other words, delete it.
This is probably illegal, unethical and downright stupid.
I am urging all of my associates to avoid Yahoo! domains.
