Best registrar for European country domains?

What would you recommend as a registrar EU for country domains?
I need the domains to be secure/well priced and support to be good. Something like the Moniker of Eu domains.

    Hi Adrian,
As a rule i don't buy euro domains. By that i mean .eu, .fr etc
However i needed a top .de transferring away from a registrar.
I did a lot of shopping around.
I have to say myself & a lot of people on here like eurodns.com as Freddy is the ceo & a regular member like the rest of us. In the same way Monte is a member here. He couldn't have been more helpful & managed to do a .de transfer with paperwork in a day or so!
The rates are not bad. There are cheaper but as we know you get what you pay for. eg: registerfly
I like you love Moniker but they don't even do a trustee service for .de yet.
Many are happy with GoDaddy (i'm not) they do cheap .de & a trustee service.
    Hope this helps
    cheers,
    Predator

Re: Best registrar for European country domains?

eurodns is expenisve for bulk registering and overcharges for most of countries but probably would be ok if the service is good.
for exemple charging yearly fee for a domain that is offered lifetime (the .ro ones) is pure stealing imo and as long as i have an option i will not use such a company

anyone had any experience with europeregistry?

for .de why don't u use enom?

    hmmm.
I suppose we all go on personal experience.
My experience with enom is piss poor , they also have probably the most unsecure accounts possible. Domain theft has been going on with the password sytem they operate & they tolerate it.
I only ever use them to have a domain pushed.
    Then move it.
I would avoid europeregistry. They look cheap & good. I joined them & emailed them 3/4 times to enquire about transfers in. To this day have never heard back.
I agree eurodns are pricey but for transfers are good. The support is top notch too. If you need to register lots of euro domains for a good price i don't think there is a one stop place for them all. You will probably have to use numerous.
If you do find somewhere, be sure to post back!
Incidentally, have you ever used GoDaddy for .de? Just wondering if any good.
    cheers,
    Pred

Glad to hear you have had no probs with enom. Just be aware though if someone pushes you a name & you don't change the unique password for the name, they can steal back. You may have seen the threads on here.
I phoned Moniker the other week & they don't have a trustee service for .de which you need if you are a non German resident. They're getting it soonish apparently.
    I love Moniker too.
    Cheers,

I have about 30 domains with Eurodns, never faced a problem.

The other registrar I have used is speednames and they are very expensive.
