It's tricky...
1) Click on "Magage Domains"
2) Click on the domain name that you wish to unlock
3) Under "Domain Information" look for Domain Status : Locked
4) Click on "Locked"
5) Uncheck "Lock" and then "Update"
If you are new to domains and looking to buy, sell and learn about domains then you have come to the right place. Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!I'm trying to transfer my domains away from Registerfly, but have been unable to unlock them for the out-transfer - apparently their interface only allows one to lock your domains, not unlock them.
Anyone know how to do this? Their support has been unresponsive.
Thanks.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I tried, but wasn't able to unlock them like you explain - when clicking on "Locked", nothing happened. I even toggled the "Enable/Disable the ability to lock/unlock your domains" settings under "My Settings", to no avail. So, in the end I just sent out several emails, 2 faxes and umpteen support requests to have all my domains unlocked, and it worked ... finally. I then initiated the out-transfers and that's in progress at the moment.
I will tell you this, if I can avoid it, I will never deal with Registerfly again!

You click on the "lock" box to "unlock" it, but it goes back to being locked. This is absolutely pure bullsh*t.
