If you are new to domains and looking to buy, sell and learn about domains then you have come to the right place. Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!I only use Enom if I get a name from a forum sale and always transfer them out. Just before expiration a dnf member pushed me a name that expired yesterday and also can't be transferred within 7 days (too late). I went to renew it but they want $29.95 for 1-year which I am not going to pay. Anyone know how to renew it at a more competitive cost?

you can always pay the $6995.00 and get your account changed to a $7.95 reseller account
and the $6995.00 is credited to your account for renewals, registrations, etc.
then you can offer reseller accounts to others for $8.95 and keep $1.00 for each reg or renewal they purchase.
other plans are also available
i'd advise you to let another enom reseller set-up you a cheaper account for future use
imo...

They told you it was too late, I just did a transfer out with a name that was about 3 days expired but I had to contact them first and they sent me the auth.
According to denny007 the blocking of transferring out to another registrar even post-expiration is illegal per ICANN rules. But good luck arguing with them. I'd renew at whatever rate and then transfer out.

You can create an account at a enom reseller. Push the domain to the new account, renew it, then push it back to your main enom account. I've used dnbuy.net, but I'm sure someone on here knows of a cheaper one...

That's it. Enom set pricing so as not to compete with their resellers.

I was just charged $34.95 for one year to renew a .net that I just bought. Daylight robbery. Will be transferring all my Enom away.

They lost a lot of my business.
Even when I buy a name from some one I just drop the name or get that to other registrars

I pay 8.58 at eNom as a reseller and when i push a domain into an account I create for others, I can set prices at whatever I wish. Perhaps that is how the seller makes a little extra cash from each sale on a yearly basis.
Good luck,

Try dynadot, if you have alot of domains registered:

I wonder who is the best reseller of Enom? Any suggestion?
If you want to save the registration fee cost at eNom, you should upgrade your account to be a reseller account. I have just paid for 9.50 buck per year for each domain that is similar to other companies.
I like eNom.com system because it has good api.
