Moving around within Enom

I have noticed that my computer is getting slower and slower when opening and
doing things within Enom.

I know Enom has changed a few of the pages.

Is it my computer memory,
is it the graphics or
something else.

Apparently, Mcafee has also added more bells and whistles to
their complete program. I don't know if that is the problem.
Or, a combination of both.

But, it is really annoying to keep waiting for the page to open when
I'm not experiencing that problem elsewhere.

Are you experiencing the same problem?

Re: Moving around within Enom

hit ctrl+alt+del and look at your task manager, processes tab

I have an Enom account and have no problems, not long ago, I removed McAfee and installed Nod32, which uses minimum system resources.

Re: Moving around within Enom

I seem to be experiencing slow response time from enom.com on occasions.

They threw up a maintainance message too yesterday I think.

Their search function doesn't seem to work for me. When I search for names expiring during x days, I normally get the following error:

Invalid domain status
Loading results
No results returned by query.

This makes it tricky trying to renew domains

I've advised technical support at enom - but they haven't implemented a solution yet.

Re: Moving around within Enom

There search function sucks. Do a search for all domains beginning with any letter of the alphabet and you get an error message..

Quote:
Server Error in '/' Application.
Invalid postback or callback argument. Event validation is enabled using <pages enableEventValidation="true"/> in configuration or <%@ Page EnableEventValidation="true" %> in a page. For security purposes, this feature verifies that arguments to postback or callback events originate from the server control that originally rendered them. If the data is valid and expected, use the ClientScriptManager.RegisterForEventValidation method in order to register the postback or callback data for validation.
So, you look for a link to all the domains beginning with the letter of the alphabet? They don't have that link anymore. CRAZY!

So how do you list all the domains beginning with the letter "s"? you have to scroll through all the pages until you get to the pages beginning with the letters "r" and "s" and continue scrolling pages until you get to a page beginning with the letters "s" and 't". CRAZY!

Re: Moving around within Enom

Has anyone else been having difficulty renewing expiring names in bulk?

I can't seem to do this at the moment due to the search errors.

Re: Moving around within Enom

Yes. It is a major problem and very time consuming.

Re: Moving around within Enom

Some temporary growing pains, from what I understand. eNom.com got a facelift and made some functionality enhancements to their website, changing the focus to resellers only. Retail customers were moved to a new site at eNomCentral.com. They also just launched the new BulkRegister site and are migrating all those customers to the eNom platform at which time it will be available at BulkRegister.com.

Re: Moving around within Enom

Yeah - I, too, have been having problems with enom the last few days - even with basic maintenance things. Lots of error messges and timeouts.

Shame how "growing pains" can really hurt. I also noticed that I have fewer problems with IE thatn with FF - which is another shame 'cause I seldom use IE.
