Have a pretty interface but then deal with issues every month.
A reason some think the GD site is not so good is because of all the excellent features and power you have which other registrar sites do not have available. That makes the GD site seem hard to navigate at first but after a while you get the hang of it and will find it relatively easy. Some of the features were implemented by Adam when he was there such as number of whois searches done on your domains, etc.
