Moniker sends escrow sales data to Dnjournal.com - A big thumbs down!

After going through my taxes I decided to search a few domain sales this past year and see how they were doing. On one name we used Moniker's escrow service for I noticed the sale price had shown up on Dnjournal.com. Neither I nor the buyer contacted Dnjournal to release the sales information. I think Moniker has some nerve to release confidential escrow information to third party news sites.

A big thumbs down for both Moniker and Dnjournal

sedo sales are all technically escrow transactions, all their sales are auto reported on their site and to dnj etc, unless you tell them expressly not to or change setttings to prevent purchase and sales info
i guess moniker works the same? unless you say not to or say is part of an nda

if you email Ron and prove was your transaction as buyer or seller and ask him to remove the domain from dnj I'm sure he will, Ron's a gent.

same as jp, and the name was? lol

    Moniker is horrible regardless.

Following a domain sale, I had said funds in escrow- awaiting payment.

After a week with no payment received, nor any chance of such in sight / as there was no email correspondence to speak of (concerning the delay & or possible solution) - thus I decided to inquire about the whereabouts of funds...Turns out- for an optional (Yes- as in, not required!) area within the payment/bank details input section- The 'swift code' was "left blank". As it is not neccessary nor required by my (or even most) bank(s) for the completion of a domestic wire transfer. As such and as already said- I left this area blank. Presuming leaving this area blank would signify said information/data is simply not neccessary nor needed for the completion of payment.

...Sure enough they agreed. However instead of leaving it blank, I had to put "N/A". They couldn't proceed with payment until doing so.
So, I had to log in (mind you complying with this, delayed payment an additional day) and edit the swift code with the aforementioned "N/A"....Mind you, prior to this, when I was first told I was required to put "N/A". I simply requested/pleaded "Oh okay, will keep note of such with respect to future transactions...for now, please please just send funds." "No, you must log in and add "N/A" as we've stated"........In any case- Sure enough, following this modification- payment soon followed.

Sorry for the long winded response. I just wanted to emphasize every facet of this ridiculous mind numbing procedure / process.

The absurdity of such deserves a paragraph-long summary.

sedo will keep the sale private but they charge an extra fee for this. I dont know if Moniker has that.

An extra fee is ridiculous. I prefer Escrow.com.
