hmm, report to GoDaddy fast.
If you are new to domains and looking to buy, sell and learn about domains then you have come to the right place. DNForum is the largest domain name community on the internet and continues to grow every day. There are over 105,000 domainers on DNForum doing everything from buying domains, selling domains, learning about domains and discussing domains. Take a minute and Register.
Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!I use two emails for domaining - my gmail for WhoIs contact (great spam filter) and one I don't publish for registrar contact etc. This way if I need a password reset it is sent to the unpublished one, not gmail (better security etc..).
Last night I renewed a bunch of domains at GoDaddy and as usual during the checkout process I changed the email address listed as the contact from the unpublished one to the gmail (which I always do with them) and even though I've never had an issue with this in the past - GoDaddy changed my registrar contact email address to the gmail one WITHOUT my permission.
Luckily I noticed it when I got a TDNAM list though my gmail and not the unpublished one so I went in and changed it back to the unpublished one.
IMO this is a bit of a security risk!
