I was thinking the same thing, so thanks for asking. What's wrong with asking who's speaking on behalf of GoDaddy? Most of us are Godaddy customers. Inquiring minds want to know!

Is there a way to disable all the spam at checkout for advanced users? This is why I will pay a little more somewhere else to not have to click thru 5 pages worth of add-on's. And not to mention the 60-day rule when changing the whois info.

I am working on filing a lawsuit against GoDaddy regarding the transfer policy.

If you have bought a transfer from Godaddy and for whatever reason never transfered the name to GD, after 30 days Godaddy cancels that transfer and DOES NOT credit your account back unless you ask for it.

If you have any transfers that you paid for AND were not completed, AND were then removed from the pending transfer que AND were DID NOT receiving a refund, please PM me.

Well said. When GD become more like Fabulous.com who are Fabulous,
THEN I would even bother considering them ,but GD is pretty much geared
up for the mug in the street not bona fide domainers. GD wont even answer
questions that they find awkward so how is a domainer going to trust them
with they living ?.

I went to add privacy on a domain. It said US$8.00 odd a year. Got to
checkout and the bill is double that and I cannot see anywhere to change
it back to 1 year (assuming that they changed it to 2 years automatically)
so I just thought "f this I will go and use proper registrar".
