Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!Ever since the "new" style - if I want to change forwarding, DNS, contact etc. it now takes 15-30 seconds for the window to slide open (as opposed to a couple of seconds from before).
Browsing other sites is still fast so it is not my PC / connection. Aside from the domain manager popping up new windows and the extremely slow interface it has now taken me 30 minutes to do what used to take a couple.
Plus, whenever it is doing this or refreshing the screen is locks all browser windows, even if it is a different instance (and not a different tab).
This new "upgrade" has become a serious hindrance to me.

As I always say I need a "use the simple design" button , I have gave up a lot computer games when they switched to 3D , I am also thinking about this for GoDaddy although I was fine with them.
I think GoDaddy must use complex code that is slow to download.
When my connection is very slow it sometimes takes more than 10 minutes to go to a name I'm bidding on and of course more often than not I loose the auction. Very frustrating. And wastes time too.
They also have a rather short timeout period which exacerbates the situation when the internet connection is slow.
I think the slow opening pages and the short timeout period are my biggest gripes with godaddy. These aren't things that an account executive can fix.

Draggar I've noticed it just recently as well and thought it was just my connection at the time. I haven't had the need to get back in to do anything yet so I'm not sure if it's any better these last couple days or not.
Same here. That server is too slow.
oh man this IS annoying... every time I try to make a domain change I end up with a bunch of tabs open... There is no good reason for them to do this... with the resources they have the site should be flawless...

They have had the slowest server response time for eons.
It has been like this for as long as I can remember. They need to come out with a simple interface without all the bells and whistles that is only text only.
phew!!! thought it was meI saw a turtle run by last time I was on there.

Hey stewie, I saw that turtle also but he is only a 1/4 way across the page on my screen
It is really pathetic, SlowDaddy really should address the problem. Just making the simplist changes in the Domain manager takes far to long. As i mentioned in other threads, I am pulling out all my domains hosted with them, it is only a few hundred but if other customers would do the same GD will go from the largest to the smallest registrar in a short time. It seems like they are trying to see how many customers they can put in a Volkswagon.
