    Sham at TDNAM

This is by NO fault of GoDaddy or TDNAM but rather the seller. I searched through listings on TDNAM and came across a domain that a seller listed for $100, "Buy Now", it was a good domain so I jumped on it, couple days later I get an email from the seller,

I'm not sure how this happened but I actually own blankblank.net but not blankblank.com. If u r still interested in purchasing the alternate domain then please let me know. I am sorry for any inconvenience.

I was outraged, but kept it cool, telling her I didn't want the .net, and to contact Godaddy and explain what happened, I too contacted Godaddy and asked for a refund, they reply with no knowledge of what happened asked me to send them the entire email from the seller and other info, I did and this was the response.

    ----------------------------------------
    Dear Sir/Madam,

The auction and transaction were canceled due to fraudulently listing the correct domain name. We have also processed a refund for the domain name.

    Regards,

    Daniel D.

My female intuition tells me this was intentional, all to make a .net sale, she never even wrote me back...WAB!.

Be warned when buying names on TDNAM.

    Raider girl,

Sup! I know Daniel D very well and am aware how these things happen.

I used to list as many as 350-500 domains at a time and occasionally made a mistake with the extension. It is and was embarrassing for the seller. I would be charged $10.00 as an admin fee.

But, I would also offer for free the domain name that I mistakenly listed. Most were very happy with this.

HOWEVER, I will not dare cross your woman's intuition. If you feel it was intentional, then by golly you are right!!!

Your right, we all make mistakes, you and I would admit them, but this one didn't and would not offer an explantion, dismissed it like it was no big deal and not returning my email, it was intentional, trust me on this one!

I wanted that domain really bad, it was a big let down!...I'm going after the .com where the seller has it at sedo...wish me luck!
