Is Fabulous accepting EU domain names?

I'd like to know if Fabulous is accepting .eu extension domain names. And if not, why not?

Hi bacino,

Yes, Fabulous does accept .eu domains on our Premium program. Please note that we have found that English language domains that consist of 2-3 commercial terms/phrases perform best on our system.

whats the minimum criteria for getting accepted in fabulous program? How many domains should i own?

Hi domainuncle,

We require that you have a portfolio that consists predominantly of type-in traffic domains. We know what domains do and don't work on our program.

We have found that .com domains that are commercial in nature (ie. have advertisers listing on that term/phrase) and also receive type-in/direct navigation traffic (ie. have a wordtracker or overture count) perform best. However, we are happy to review quality, .net, .org, .co.uk, .com.au, .ca and .us domains.

Ideally we would like you to have 50+ domains that meet these requirements; however we are lenient on this amount, depending on the quality of domains.

I just got an official reply from Ben Stewart at Fabulous, saying that

"UNFORTUNATELY, FABULOUS IS NOT MONETISING .EU EXTENSION DOMAINS AT THIS TIME."

So, Mike, i understand you have good intentions but it is a misinformation you gave us. Fabulous is NOT accepting .eu domains.

By the way, I've sent to FABULOUS a list of 144 domain names, all based on generic keywords, in English, and it was turned down. Not because the domains were bad, but because they are .eu extension.

So the story about having 50+ domains does not apply for EU extension.
