I've read some posts saying that Fabulous has a great plan for monitizing sites and saying theat the new alliance will adversely imapct a lot of the thrid party parking programs.
When I went to their site to read what they offer they said that they couldn't reveal the percentage of payout to domain holders but they wanted to asure domain owners it was the highest allowable. That seems a liitle crazy to me - its like saying tust us - we'll pay you. Every other parking program touts their percentage payouts to entice you to join. Why won't Fabulous reveal what their payouts are.Can you embed an independant counter on the pages? If you had an independant counter you at least cout get an idea of what the payout is. However if they are saying trust us on the percentage we are going to pay you and trust us to count the traffic right there's a lot of trust required there. What have your experiences been? Any other monitizing suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help.
All the best,

Fabulous is wholly owned by Dark Blue Sea, a public company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange
That fact should ensure they can count correctly.
You should give them a try; if your names are suitable.
My own experience with Fabulous has been excellent
Sometimes they will reject a name
I just park those names somewhere else
I remember that a couple of years ago, a rep from Fab posted on this forum that they pay 75% if they are allowed to categorize for you , and 50% if the domain owner wanted to categorize.
It would indeed be a challenge to find that post.
Personally, I do not care what the % payout is
I only care about the amount of the payout
Hope this helps you

many people sometimes don't realize that the % of the rev share that you get from the parking operator is not as important as the rev share that the parking operator got from the upstream provider.
Just a hypothetical example: parked.com gives you 70% rev share and got 80% from yahoo, while fabulous gives you 75% rev share and got 70% from google. If you had inside information on what share the parking companies get, you would easily calculate that at parked you would make more money than at fabulous, even though fabulous offers a higher rev share to their client. So wthout knowing what parking companies get, there is no point in speculating what rev share they give you.
Agree. Let's look further into it. Can we assume that yahoo and google would treat the parking companies 'fairly', as least as fair as the parking companies are treating domainers? Most major parking companies are probably getting the similiar percentage of cut from yahoo and google.
Fab is a first-rate outfit with great service and high integrity.
I don't believe this is so. Rather the higher the volume of high-quality traffic a company can deliver, the higher the payout they can negotiate. Most major parking companies are probably getting the similiar percentage of cut from yahoo and google.
I've got to give props to Fab -- great service, and the highest revenue per click that I've seen. I'm a small fry, but I have received for one click the following for instance:
CheapGolf.us -- $5.88
SouthTexasCondos.com -- $7.52 and one for $8.00+
BillionDollarDeal.com -- $7.00+
CarolinaVisit.com -- $16.00 !!
I also have some names at Parked and am very happy -- multiple clicks add up.
Anyone want to buy the above names? (just kidding -- sort of)
