Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!Sometime last November, the daily parking revenue of an adult domain of mine dropped dramatically overnight, from attractive levels to virtually nothing. An inquiry with TrafficClub (it was using the Skenzo feed) learned that the domain had been banned by Google.
When it comes to reasons for this, however, I'm completely left in the dark. This domain had been receiving the same stable amount of pure, generic type-in traffic for years. No promotion of this domain had ever been done. I've always refrained from pushing any traffic whatsoever to my parked domains. The domain is not of an obscene nature, doesn't infringe on any trademarks (it's purely generic), doesn't indicate anything illegal.
Now, talking to a friend of mine, it turns out he's had two of his domains banned on the same day too, which has meant an even much more dramatic destruction of capital. Again, his domains are purely generic with type-in traffic only. They're both adult, but of an even softer touch than mine.
Has anyone experienced the same? Did you find out the reason for the ban, and did anyone manage to have his domain unbanned?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, sometimes it's domain espionage...send it to parked.com and use the yahoo feed!
I'm buying credit, banking, loan, insurance related generics in .com, .net, .org with high search volumes/traffic. Will consider typos too! - PLEASE PM with name, info, & asking price!
I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of replies here. I can't really imagine no one is having the same problems...
Here's an interesting article on Why Google Bans certain domains. In the adult field it can be guilt by association if you're linked to another site that is banned for some reason.
Cynthia, thanks for the article but this is not about SEO or a domain being banned from the Google index. My (and my friend's) domains were banned from Adsense for domains, for no apparent reason at all.
ask google..call them and complain

don't worry about it, just switch to another parking company that offers the Yahoo feed. The same thing happened to me and after switching my revenue is up nearly 3 fold.
Does the domain contains "Teen Porn Concepts" ?
Im buying domains with traffic or generic premiums- PM ME
I have the same with one domain. This domain is non-adult and has about 500 visitors natural type in traffic daily.
Yahoo banned it (no Ads), so I switched to a Google Feed Provider and here it works, but with lower income. By the way, what Parking Company with Google Feed pay good money and has high CTR Templates?
In my case I can imagine that because the traffic is really target to a topic, and may be that topic does not convert.
And may be because the traffic is so high they measured it, analyzed it, banned it.
