That's the first time I've seen that. Looks like they're going to start one.

i doubt they have any plans and/or interest in running a "parking program" -- this is just the standard parking page where they seem to have incorporated a google ad feed... by time they did so. almost every other registrar already does this with parked/expired domains; enom.. network solutions....etc.

So they make money from their members domains ?
    Is it legal ?

well, if you choose not to park/host your domains registered with them at any point in time on your own then it is parked with the GoDaddy default setup...and yes they do profit from this...perfectly legal

    Re: Godady parking

    Kind of funny.

They can get stats from your domain names before you can.
They default to this page and profit from your domain you spent money on.
and really this can be hugh. How is this legal. Can i buy a car and when ever i go on a vacation the lender can come and drive it until i get back.
I noticed it yesterday when i forwarded a domain name to dreamtdomain and was waiting for it to resolve. :It had taken a long time:. I can just bet GoDaddy will now test the limits of how long it takes to forward and park. Maybe a full three days. And if they can make .10 on everydomain name they have being forwarded or transfered or parked could create a big revenue stream. God this guy never stops thinking. Goes from one plot to the next. I wish he taught me.
