Country: | Hit an amazing opportunity yesterday... There's a local water/amusement park around here that I used to have annual passes to. Every year they send out emails to people who they have on record as being previous annual pass holders.
The email arrived yesterday and I clicked the link within the email to go to their site. Page not found? What? I looked at the URL and they had spelled their domain name wrong in the email sent out to thousands of people! Even better, the domain wasn't registered. I promptly registered it and parked it.
I managed 198 clicks yesterday alone from this, obviously paying WAY more than the domain registration fee.
Always be on the lookout for great opportunities and seize them when they come up. That is my advice to you. |

If it is a typo of an obvious trademarked domain, you are still guilty.
Many large firms pay a service to continously monitor new registrations for trademark infringements.
If you delete it before they come after you with UDRP, you won't lose the domain.
But, they can come after you in Federal court.
It would be very easy for them to prove you knew you were infringing since you are a customer.
They know when the email was sent out and they can determine when you registered the domain.
I understand why you did it. And, we all have those lapse in common sense.
Soon, the IP lawyers will start making examples of infringers with costly court cases
just to scare the other infringers away from their clients TMs.
That is why you are seeing a number of typos of TMs dropping early.
The "pro's" know it is coming.
In situations like this, you are playing "russian roulette".
Remember, the law firms make a lot more money if they fight you in federal court
than they do with UDRP.

DNF$: 0 Location: san carlos, CA | You even say its a water park that you use. You could not have earned that much from it. Why not redirect the traffic to their main site? To help them out?
A domainer can help others. Its allowed.
