    Trafficclub - November Payments?

Has anyone received Nov-07 payment from Trafficclub?

They are supposed to be net 45 which would have been on Jan 15th.

Here's the last email I got from TrafficClub:

"December and January TrafficClub earnings will be paid to you as credits to your DomainSponsor account. These credits will be applied to your account at the same time as your February DomainSponsor earnings, which will occur in early March."

There's no mention of November earnings? but I'm assuming they'll begin paying out next week.

    UPDATE 2/11/08:

I finally received November earnings today BUT it was a few hundred dollars less than what I was owed (approximately 25% less)!

    Unbelievable..

First payment is 2 months late and now this. All my domains have officially been pulled from TrafficClub/DomainSponsor.

I finally received payment and it was 21.5% short...

How can there be a fraud adjustment if there was no fraud on my account.
Is Moniker allowed to do this?

Seems like every domainer that had a TC account had fraud clicks. Yeah right!!
My portfolio receives only type-in. No fraud from my part....and I still got less than 50% of my earnings. I hope we get an explanation to this. I have had my portfolio with TC for the last 1,5 years. I have used same names there that produce type-ins......and all of a sudden when they are changing things to DomainSponsor this will happen. Smells like scam to me!

I have a hard time believing fraud adjustments would occur 3 months later and every one would have the same % shaved off their earnings.

But I'm sure skenzo will be blamed in any event for whatever reason.

The theme for next week's TRAFFIC event is "transparency"... how about we get a little transparency on this issue since it's affected ALL TrafficClub customers. Let's start here:

    • Why was payment 2 months late?
    • Why was 20%-50% of earnings TAKEN from all of us?
    • Why did this occur on TrafficClub's final payment before transitioning to DomainSponsor? This has NEVER happened before.
    • If this is in fact a "fraud adjustment" how could EVERYONE be affected and how can fraud account for nearly 25% of ALL clicks in November for TrafficClub customers only?? All my other parking accounts didn't have a "fraud adjustment"

We could easily be talking about millions of dollars here that has simply disappeared into thin air.. with no explanation! I want to know EXACTLY where my money went and why it was taken.. your customers deserve a detailed explanation immediately.

I would also suggest everyone to take screenshots of November, December and January if you have not already done that. Once they shut down things you have no proof of earnings. I hope we can trust that earnings from December and January will be credited to our DomainSponsor account.

I just received my (supposed!) November payment too, discounted by grossly 25%. This is merely a new low in TrafficClub's abysmal standards of the past months but absolutely unacceptable (no notes, no explanation, nothing!).

Things are fresh and the story needs to unfold. I'm in for a class action suit, however, should the need arise.

My TC payment was also short.
One of possible explanations could be the following.
As we know, SKENZO pays whatever they wish. For example, after TC was acquired by DS, we all remember what happened with skenzo feed payments for traffic using TC skenzo feed - close to zero. I may be wrong, but most likely skenzo decided to set another %%% to TC. It was caused by the new ownership. Furthermore, Skenzo _might_ apply their payout formula retroactively. I would not be too surprised if it was the case. Now, skenzo pays in 45 days. So their November payment to trafficclub was processed on or about Jan. 15th and they had all opportunities to adjust November payout. So TC received only 75% and paid us accordingly. I am not sure what
would happen with December and Jan. payouts.
If so, we all should say thanks to oversee for destroying a traffic "club" idea and for all of us being underpaid. They have $$$ to acquire players like moniker or snapnames. So oversee should also find some $$$ to pay us what we earned even if skenzo retroactively recalculated tc payouts.

All this may be completely wrong. I may be mistaken. I do NOT accuse neither oversee nor skenzo. I have high respect to both and sincerely hope that Oversee as a new moniker owner would simply pay us all the earnings. Let their relations with skenzo remain in secret, no problems.

    Just found at another forum.
    Quote begin:
"Complained to CEO, Monte Cahn. His answer:
"There was a fraud adjustment to all accounts by Skenzo and Google and that was the reason for the delay.""
    Quote end.

So 25% of all traffic delivered by TC customers mystically became fraudent as soon as tc was acquired by oversee?

The thing that is most unacceptable is the complete lack of communication about this. I still can't believe this is happening, it's a hard slap in the face of all Moniker's customers and affiliates.

Nevertheless, I can't think of any explanation for this that would be satisfactory. The TOS merely mention a net-45 payout base, but nothing about such fraud adjustments and the right of doing it months after the traffic and clicks have been generated. I can't imagine a judge would buy this.

Now, even if Skenzo or even their upstream providers suddenly didn't pay or did random 'fraud adjustments', if that's not our problem. We deal with TrafficClub (not with Skenzo or Google) and get quoted 'final', 'audited' revenues after 24-48 hours.

Payouts on my typins at DomainSponsor are triple what Skenzo paid. I'd write it off as a "different feed" except Skenzo used to pay the same amount. Then strangely about a year ago, they dropped payouts to most (all?) TrafficClub members.

It looks like Skenzo has been stealing about $400/mo. from me. If they have made a final "fraud" adjustment, fine. Skenzo can just give me my money and get their thieving program out of my life.

I don't think that's the issue here. We're dealing with TrafficClub, not Skenzo, and are paid way too little, way too late, without any form of communication involved.

The names WERE at TrafficClub. Skenzo provided the feed, and Skenzo claims a "fraud adjustment" as the reason for the short payment. When they cut payouts a year ago, they also claimed it was a "fraud check"

I hate losing money too, but lets make sure the blame gets laid at the right place. Its Skenzo someone should be doing a "fraud check" on.

ilovedomains, I was paid by DomainSystems, inc., not Skenzo. I signed a contract with DomainSystems, inc., not Skenzo.

TrafficClub quotes me revenues and pays me 25% less than what they are still quoting to date. We're dealing with TrafficClub here, not Skenzo. It's very well possible that Skenzo should get some blame, but we're not dealing with them.

More importantly, all I hear about Skenzo are some rumours about fraud adjustments. I haven't got any communication, have you? I don't really care what Skenzo is doing wrong, that should be an internal affair between DomainSystems and them, and if there's anything suspicious going on, DS should litigate by all means. In the meanwhile, however, they should pay us the revenues we're entitled to as per our contract.

    1. Lack of communication. Even if there is a problem, shouldn't we know and receive at least a formal notice?
    2. Fraud can't be common. If anyone committed a fraud, he (they) shall be penalised, not everyone using the same feed. Fraud can be traced to specific domain(s)/account(s).
    3. Deficitary stats. It's not the first time when this happen on TC/Skenzo. People are moving (even buying!) domains related on these stats. But they are reported as incorrect 3 months later!

It smells very fishy to me.

"In the meanwhile, however, they should pay us the revenues we're entitled to as per our contract."

If you translate the "lawyer speak" in the T&C's of any parking program, you will find it says:
    1. We can pay you what we want when we want.
    2. If we even think you MIGHT be cheating, we can pay you nothing.
    3. Even if we just dont like you, we dont have to pay you.
    4. We can cut payouts because we lost your account and just tell you its fraud.

That "contract" you think you have was written by lawyers to protect the Parking company, not you. Legally, they dont have to give you dick, and theres not a thing you can do about it.
