If you are new to domains and looking to buy, sell and learn about domains then you have come to the right place. DNForum is the largest domain name community on the internet and continues to grow every day. There are over 105,000 domainers on DNForum doing everything from buying domains, selling domains, learning about domains and discussing domains. Take a minute and Register.
Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!In a matter of hours yesterday almost $2000 was taken away from my May revenue going back over 2 weeks.
No explanation until I wrote Monte an email asking WTF was going on. I guess they thought I wouldn't notice. I would think a preemptive email warning what was going to happen would have been smart on their part.
Anyway it supposedly only affected Skenzo, which is my 100% choice with them and it was a "reporting error".
Funny how the errors are always in their favor - my revenue never miraculously increases overnight.
Anyway time to move away from them.
Any other Skenzo services out there? I've tried Klickerz, they seem ok.
I once thought I was wrong...
But I was mistaken.

Nitronet and all others,
Just yesterday we discovered a reporting error in TrafficClub with Skenzo results. Good news is that we were not paid the amount being reported and therefore, have not paid out earnings based on the erroneous reports. This is now being adjusted and the correct amount will be reported and paid within the next 10 days. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and will do our best to ensure this error does not happen again.
So - you did not lose any money, it was just in reporting. I know that we would all rather have the additional revenue, however, it was not real money and is being fixed. The lack of communication was not to hope that you would not detect it....everyone detected the problem however it only effected 40 customers out of 600 so sending out a broadcast message was not appropriate at the time. You will receive a direct communication as to how the error effects your account specifically.
Thank you for your consideration.

If the money was actually paid to us and there was a benefit experienced by the company, then of course we would let folks keep the money. In this case no one earned any money. I am sure you are realize that we will do what is right. In this case, payments did not even go out yet.
it is fixed so all ok. also remember that TrafficClub is a multiple feed system to increase revene and profit for all domains not just ones that monetize on google or yahoo but on all kinds of systems.

I am in the same boat...And I feel the should pay us, by business model and purchase over cluse to 1000 new domains was based on those numbers. So I was making almost $6K a month and now $4k.
Funny how people make errors and even though they are making millions, they don't want to pay us the few thousand they owe us.
Needless to say unless the right thing is done I am looking for somewhere else to move my 1800 domains. Anyone know the other Skenzo services? And how doe sit work when you switch from one to another in Skenzos system? Do the pages reoptimize or stay as they are?
For more information you can visit Cashcows.com
I'm Developing more than selling these days, here is one I'm working on at the moment:
Sell Settlement - About Structured Settlements.
Nico - I already addressed this with you. You did not earn the money, it was a reporting error. The system did not prevent you from making money it was just reporting revenue wrong for a small group of customers. We never received that revenue and did not pay anyone that revenue so the system and the reporting is clean now.
I consider this issue resolved.

Hi Monte,
As I can recall, we're having issues with Skenzo for second or third time in last 3 months. Don't misunderstand any domainers here but when we see revenue in and all of sudden next day it's not there, that's what makes us nervous.
Samuel
I don't find this to be the case at all at TrafficClub. My revenue numbers often dramatically increase over night...and sometimes they continue increasing for more than a day.Funny how the errors are always in their favor - my revenue never miraculously increases overnight.
I have also had reversals where my revenue is higher earlier in the day and lower later in the day...but it usually straightens itself out over a couple days.
It's reasonable to be frustrated over getting overstated stats. I don't think it's fair to imply fraud on the part of TrafficClub unless there is evidence of that.
Don't make a bad business decision out of frustration and emotion. If TrafficClub was a good choice before this incident, it's probably still a good choice after this blows over.
Gimme a break. I'll bet the contract terms for TrafficClub cover situations like this. If so, nothing is owed.Funny how people make errors and even though they are making millions, they don't want to pay us the few thousand they owe us.
Now this is a reasonable arguement. You should offer the domains that were purchased under bad info to Moniker. Maybe they should buy them from you for Reg fee if there is a reasonable relationship between the domain purchase decisions and the bad stats. And I feel the should pay us, by business model and purchase over cluse to 1000 new domains was based on those numbers.

I understand where Monte is coming from, if it was an error thats fine. Looks like my May wasn't to bad of a loss after the adjustment. Around $500 loss, alot less then what was shown when they first found the error. Nitro, is your loss the same amount for May then it was when you first posted this?

Waiting payment from TrafficClub. (April Revenue)
Guys, i can gaurantee that if you had a program and you had an error from a third party.. you wouldnt go paying out based on those figures and just eat the difference.
I think they are doing the right thing here, they are paying what is owed.. not some error.
I'm not owed any money from trafficclub in relation to this skenzo thing, however even if i was i would think this is fair enough and the right thing.
My Loss was the same or more.Originally Posted by Shaggy
I actually was giving them more traffic because the performance was looking good before the "error" so I actually lost more money since I wouldn't have moved some names to them had the stats been correct.
I'm out of there now and am happy with Klickerz so far.
I once thought I was wrong...
But I was mistaken.
I use traffic club but I only make about 10cents every month on my 30 domains, guess it does'nt hurt me much.![]()
Hello all,
I've been away from the board since forever it seems, at least a couple of months anyway. I've heard about the Traffic Club problem and feel its only right that I offer my own observations here.
I had heard some time ago that TC's Skenzo stats were substantially higher than what Klickerz was doing with the same traffic. I could never understand how they could pull such a thing off seeing as we are both getting about the top deal from Skenzo and knowing that I'm splitting about 85%-90% that revenue with the domainer, which is a few points above what I belive TC regularly splits. Now I get it. The figures were artificially inflated and those reported sums will not actually be paid. Go figure.
So whats been lost by the affected domainers isn't so much the "revenue" that was never actually earned and won't be paid. Rather its the opportunity to have done business with a partner who may actually have been giving them a better deal all along. For a couple of months now TC has been able to "compete" on uneven terms by using erroneous reporting. Many domainers must have believed that Traffic Club was a better place to park their names than was Klickerz. Now after some number of months it turns out that it t'aint neccesarily so. I feel that both Klickerz and the community have sufferred.
Now I know Monte, I like to think of him as a friend. We've even played poker together and I do belive he's an honorable guy. I don't believe that he did this intentionally. But intentional or not its still pretty F'd up. I've been struggling like crazy for the last few months, traveling, sponsoring different shows, etc, to get out the good word about Klickerz and finally it turns out that all along I've been playing against a stacked deck. Thankfully thats over now.
I guess thats about all there is to say. If anyone wants to give Klickerz a shot we make it easy. Just signup and we'll have you going within a business day, 2 at the most. Mention this thread and we'll start you out at 90% revshare. You read that right, 90%!
On a side note- far as what someone said that Hitfarm is still "king" the truth is that if HF was paying so much I'd still be with them. I make better than 200% more on the same traffic using Klickerz/Skenzo than I did with Hitfarm. I don't see whats so kingly about that.

Support and FUND the ICA!
I tried to signup at KLICKERZ.COM but it keeps saying over and over,
"There were some problems with your information. Please revise your answers to the customization questions below and submit again."
I tried to revised as much as I can. No luck.

phineasphog,
I took a look at Klickerz and have couple questions.
Does Klickersz monetize Chinese traffic?
Is there any way I can put a link saying: Domain for Sale in my parking page?
i think this question is on the wrong thread.Originally Posted by chois
