I had a account at bodis when they first opened and did pretty well, but when all the controversy started they closed my account without notice, till about 90 days later letting me know that it was closed because I didn't have a sufficient portfolio (only around 300-400 domains). So I never even bothered to check back to them.
Ended up at imodo and about a month ago switched back to park (where I originally had all my names).
I will definitely be checking out sedo though ~ Sedo pro requires at least 200 domains?
thanks,
-Mike C.
sedo pays big $ on some keywords and pennies on most others, Those pennies you made at sedo could be dollars at other parking providers... That's why it's so important to test your domains at multiple providers to see where they perform the best, It's a painstaking process, but well worth it in the long run.

Eek! Not sure what on earth I was thinking about but Biggie is right.
At least 1000 names and $300 average.
Why would one parking place pay pennies for a keyword, and another dollars? Don't they all use Google or yahoo? Unless it's adult or gambling keywords maybe. But for things like travel, games, business, etc., it should be pretty even.

It's not, the RPC on many of my domains at SedoPro was a fraction to that at Parked. It's the same in reverse depending on the domain, RPC at Parked was a fraction to that of sedo.... And these are not gambling or adult names.
I wish there was an easy answer. There are so many factors (keyword, traffic source, etc.) Another sticking point is very little transparency in this industry.
The past couple of months have been pretty decent for me at sedo.
The best thing to do is to NOT LISTEN to others.
Self assessment of your domains is the best, imo.
I took a group of names and placed at 4 (perhaps 5) different PPC companies. Each got a trial of 30 days with the same keywords at each.
That may seem extreme to many but that is how I decided to do it. It is my understanding that it takes about 2 weeks to propagate well at each firm.
One thing I will never understand and no explanation will do - why does the traffic and clicks "magically" disappear at Parked?
Traffic at Parked was reduced to less than half measured at each of the others. If the traffic tallies on a daily basis are less than half of what what measured at each of sedo, NameDrive, Bodis, and Fabulous - then I am of the mindset that the problem is not the traffic or traffic source but with the system in place.
Traffic is traffic. Clicks are clicks. Taking away both is bogus business.
Yes, that is what I am noticing at parked. My traffic has reduced very significantly compared to at imodo.
And when I say significantly, I mean it... domains getting 1500 traffic/month are barely breaking 30 a month...
I am going to try bodis again, put some at imodo again, etc.
At sedo, is it 1000 domains AND $300 revenue, or one or the other?

its a ppa, cut to google, cut to sedo, at least they are passing some of that ppa to you...
One more question, does .tld matter?
Thanks,
-Mike C.
