So that was the first video you've seen of Alan Keyes, correct? Now read what I'm saying in plain English. Research where he stands politically, and then you'll quickly realize it's not a personal bias, he's way out there to begin with. What he is saying in the video is normal for Alan Keyes. He holds extreme political views.

Again you are missing the point... It is "normal" for Rush Limbaugh to spout off racist remarks, that doesn't excuse him...

When an individual makes inflammatory comments like Keyes did in that video it takes away credibility... Anyone can make these types of remarks and attempt to justify them due to political motivation, it does not make them correct.

If Obama was to respond and say that Keyes was a "Communist" or some other overused insult then Obama would be called out and grilled for the remark, but Keyes gets away with it because of his "extreme political views"

Do you not know what an anti-communist is? How about a radical pro-life activist? What he said in the video is in line with his political views. You seem unable to comprehend the difference between fringe politics, and personal attacks. If what he was saying deviated from his political beliefs, then it would certainly seem likely that it was an attack based on personal bias (motivated by losing an election against Obama for example). However in this case, he's shooting from typical Alan Keyes territory.

Why do you have such an axe to grind against the guy, it seems like you know absolutely nothing about him?

I'll chime in....Alan Keyes is a pretty sane individual and most of what he said is true. Many Obama supporters here just can't handle any criticism of him. Very sad.
