Anyone on Android 2.0 platform???

I think the biggest attraction for me of Android is that Google have released a free GPS turn by turn program based on Google maps for free!

As well as voice activated AND turn-by-turn voice directions.

What I do not like is Verizon's method (as well as Apple) in order to use all those services, you have to pay, pay, pay, pay...you can't just have the android. To have the droid YOU MUST HAVE this plan, that plan, and this and carry them for 2 years.

Not my ideal way of doing business.

I have 2 Helio Oceans, Virgin mobile (Sprint), all service included in one price (texting, surfing, talk) for $120.00 for BOTH PHONES. That's the $85 family plan plus one phone added to that plan for $35.

I am happy with that service and those phones. These are no longer under contract so any thing new would have to be exceptionally better in terms of product quality and service plans.

Just curious to hear how those THAT ARE ACTUALLY ON DROID 2.0 like it.

Definitely worth it. Best phone I've had yet. Fast, extremely responsive and the screen is absolutely amazing. Really beats web-browsing on the iPhone. Also, the powerful Snapdragon 1GHz CPU makes sure that all applications run smooth and fast. I love it.

I love my droid - dont know if its running 2.0 but its a great phone. Of course I DID have to go through 3 before i got one that wouldn't keep shutting down. Google Sky Map is fricken AWESOME!!!

Wow, I wish I could afford one. My brother and nephew are IPhone freaks, wonder how they'll react to this.
