Edit; The Chicago Cubs are stating that they'll refuse to play the Arizona Diamonbacks until the law is overturned.

What a way to punish both teams as well as the fans - especially when NONE of them had any control over the bill.

If the Cubs back out and take a loss for their 3 game series, I really hope the D-Backs beat them for the division title by 1-2 games at the end of the year.

If players sit out - can they be fined for not doing thier job? Can the Cubs be fined for not fufilling their contract with MLB?

Ultimately, it's the fans who lose out over this - even the season ticket holders purchased X number of games and won't get their money's worth, can they turn around and demand a refund on those games (as well as regular ticket holders?)

There's also a lot of miseducation and misconception about illigal immigrants and illegal immigration in the USA. USA has tried for so long to brand itself as the "good guys" in the world and the "land of opprotunity". Issues like this, and many others, have been building for a very long time (decades) and now we've hit a boiling point with the general populace.

The issue is too little done prior to now.

$6.7 billion dollars were appropriated to build a virtual fence along the Mexican border.

Over $650 million has been spent on only 23 miles of fence in Arizona.

And it does not work! Literally, it does not work as in the monitors, the cameras, the technology used to build it does not work!

$650 million of REAL taxpayer money went into building a virtual fence at a cost of over $29 million per mile!

You have got to be shitting me!

That REAL money could have been used to build a REAL fence of double lines that would have minimally slowed down and impeded the illegal crossings using ground sensors or infrared beams.

In addition of monies already appropriated by Congress for the care of non-insured patients, Sen Kyl of Arizona (who sat on the appropriations committee) wrote into the law an ADDITIONAL $1 BILLION DOLLARS to cover their care. Not only was taxpayer money already appropriated by the millions, he got an additional $1BILLION in taxpayer money above, over, and beyond money already approved by congress. Again, where did that money go and who got it?

So, yes...I can understand the frustration but the previous attempts at controlling this issue is a ****ing joke. Laughable to the tune of BILLIONS of dollars in someone's pocket.

* They don't get paid enough wages.

But getting back to Arizona's new law, I say it's ABOUT TIME! It's about time a State stepped up to enforce existing Federal laws against people who cross our borders and enter into this Country ILLEGALLY.

Illegal's are coming here in droves, and one of the big reasons is because they know they can get away with it, They know once they come here, the US will do NOTHING to send them back, They also know they can work under the table and avoid paying Federal income taxes, They know they can reap the benefits States have to offer, everything from free Health Care to Free Education, all at the expense of tax payers.

And many of these illegal's are committing violent crimes against our citizens, Rape, Robbery, Murder and Kidnapping... Policing these illegal's is costing the States an enormous amount of money and resources, none of which is being reimbursed by the Federal Government.

I only hope that other States like Texas and California follow Arizona's lead..... As far as these rallies being held by illegal's, I say BRING THEM ON! We want more of them ... Good point about the minimum wage... To all the illegal's who work for less than minimum wage and want to be paid more;

First thing you need to do is work at becoming a legal resident, Obtain your Green Card and Social Security number.

Second; If you don't know how to Speak, Read or Write English, LEARN!.. You'll earn more money this way and wont have to rely on your Children to translate for you.

3rd; Get an education, a good education will land you better paying job so you wont have to rely on Government handouts anymore and you can become a tax slave like all the rest of us.

4th, By the time your done with step 1, 2 and 3, you can then apply for your Citizenship.. One advantage to becoming a US Citizen is you will no longer be voting in our elections illegally.
