ASPCA - support the PUPS act

Right now there is a huge loophole for puppy mills.

People who sell the brokers and/or puppy stores have to be lisenced and inspected by the USDA but people who sell them directly to homes (including over the internet) are not.

The PUPS (Puppy Uniform Protection and Safety - S. 3424/H.R. 5434) would require all breeders who 50 or more dogs a year to be licensed and inspected by the USDA.

It's sad that the ASPCA has to do all this work (and spend the money on it) when the AKC, who claims they are against puppy mills, never does anything to promote these bills but then in secret promotes puppy mills and unethical breeders. (I guess that's because the AKC makes a ton of $$$ off of unethical breeders nad pupy mills?).
