God luck to them, hopefully it's more like the Velvet Revolution than Libya.

Good luck to them, but I think Mr. Assad is no sweety, and he will probably make Khadaffi look like a softy.

You are in lalaland, my friend. If you seriously believe that by losing Mubarak your life - that of a Christian in a land of 80 million Muslims - will change for the better, you haven't lived long enough to read your own history.
Freedom comes at a price that those who only know of SMS, twitter, facebook and other such digital machetes will soon find out its cost.
Also, the link you provided is parody news.
Mark Zuckerberg and King Abdullah met on Jan 25, when the King offered to name Mark Zuckerberg Vizier of Saudi Arabia.
The scholars agree that in the historical context this is a correct title for a Jewish Prince.
Apparently, in the office of vizier, which spread from the Persians, Arabs, Turks, Mongols and neighboring peoples, arose under the first Abbasid caliphs and took shape during its tenure by the Barmecides as the chief minister or representative of the caliph. The vizier stood between sovereign and subjects, representing the former in all matters touching the latter.
In Andalusia (the Iberian peninsula under the Arabo-Barbaresque Moors) the Jewish Vizier was appointed by the Caliph of Cordoba.
In the US Henry Kissinger had that title under President Nixon.
Can't have democracy in the Middle East without instability. The Middle Eastern people seem to have a grasp of this already and have made up their minds to pull through no matter the cost. Surely all the countries that rely on their oil must have known a time like this would come. Heck! It happened in 1979. 30 years later the West is in the same spot. The truth is the West has only one choice now; support democracy in the Middle East. The price of oil and who will take over these governments is a decision the Middle Eastern people will have to make themselves.
Good luck to the Syrians.
we havent completely finished mubarak regime
yes christians with muslims can live hand in hand even if majority are muslims , the good muslims will win at the end

There are some other great articles on it but unfortunately they are in Czech or Slovak. It can happen with no loss of life but usually it's up to the government. I is still unclear why Moscow didn't resort to violence (for the most part) which is what they typically did in events like this.
Look at the eastern Europe in 1989 - it is almost identical to what is going on today but without the easily accessed internet. Look at how these nations have developed since then and how they are today, it may be a good view into the Middle East's and north Africa's futures.

Another irresponsible post by Gee. Seriously, as a Christian in a land of Muslims, you should be seeking stability instead of mindless eruption. The entire Africa and Middle East can very easily go down in flames from years of domestic fighting that can outlast the Mubarak regime. While I'll be paying $10 gas, you'll be searching high and low for bread. Sad but true.
I dont understand things from your point of view very quickly
we have been searching for bread already for years , I am happy for freedom , for rebellion against injustice. hope it happens also for other countries who suffer from dictatorships
I thought you were joking about 10$ gas and you were happy for our freedom
sorry if it is causing you any troubles, but you cannot stop revolution, revolution takes years with many financial troubles...
we already know that and we have made our mind to proceed with it

Gee, if I wished the world to become a heaven overnight I'd be called delusional.
You seem to be punch-drunk with the outcome of kicking out Hosni Mubarak in Egypt and you're advocating a mindless uprising - directed by twitter and facebook no less - in every country in your region. But take a look at Libya, the result has been devastating with more than 1,000 people dead and Gaddafi glued in place. What better example that a global revolution can lead to something else: global war. I am happy for your newly found sensation of "freedom", just remember that you're trading one dictator for another.
