Hard to believe a Judge let this guy out on bail! This guy should have a ball and chain wrapped around his ankles, breaking rocks with a hammer in the pouring rain.
Prediction; Bernard Madoff fleas the Country, he goes into hiding until 2012, Obama loses the election, Madoff donates a few Million to the Obama Library (maybe more), Obama pardons Madoff and he returns to the USA a free man.

In all serious he is no worse than other scammers, just on a grander scale. Even worse are the people who allowed this scheme to happen and are now trying to pick up the pieces. A bit too late for that.
Makes me wonder when the cards will come down on the likes of Mike Filsaime and co.
Then again, these things work because there are always people looking to get rich without having to do any work. Just throw money at someone else and they'll make you rich, apparently.
