And when you get a court order, the last thing on your mind is to consider actually following it?
I'm sorry Raider, but in any situation considering all options is not a character flaw. I understand that authoritarian types do not understand that, and probably never will.
Riiiggghhhtttt......and now Obama wants another Stimulus
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/...n5152216.shtml
WASHINGTON, July 11, 2009
President Barack Obama on Saturday dismissed the idea the nation might need a second stimulus to jolt the economy out of recession and urged Americans to be patient with his economic recovery plan.
....
The stimulus included $288 billion in tax cuts, dramatic increases in Medicaid spending, about $48 billion in highway and bridge construction and billions more to boost energy efficiency, shore up state budgets and improve schools.
The plan "was not designed to work in four months," Mr. Obama said. "It was designed to work over two years."
Aside from your being dead wrong again, I do find it interesting that when you talk about the "cost" of the stimulus, you include the tax cuts which were part of the package.
So, let me get this straight - you oppose those tax cuts, yes?

I don't think cooking of the books is called "knowledge". Or hiding information from Congress - Dick Cheney style. Or fabricating stories about John Kerry's Vietnam service. Or mud-slinging charismatic Dukakis over a photo-op that went bad.
This is the first time in modern American history that an ethical, educated, bi-racial president takes office, determined to get America out of the financial and social crap she's in.
What ever happened to the GOP's:
Contract With America
A Thousand Points of Light
"Aren't you better off than you were four years ago?"
Great slogans and great catch phrases for the media.
Here's another:
"Where's The Beef?"
You're kidding right??? Every President try's to hide information from Congress. Doesn't matter what party there affiliated with.
John Kerry did everything in his power to damage the reputation of his fellow soldiers in Vietnam. I will not get into the details since you already know them. Lets just say I feel he wasn't fit to be president.
You bring up Michael Dukakis? Dukakis supported the prison furlough program in Massachusetts. During his first term as Governor, he vetoed a bill that would have stopped furloughs for first-degree murderers. During his second term, that same program resulted in the release of convicted murderer William "Willie" Horton , who committed a rape and assault in Maryland after being furloughed. Does this not change your mind about this wonderful politician??? This isn't mudslinging its called the facts.
Obama is from the Chicago political machine so he is anything but ethical. He's taken over privately held companies, created numerous unaccountable czars and has taken a mild recession and turned it into a severe one. On top of this he wants to kill the economy with cap and trade. Oh I forgot he also wants to spend over a trillion dollars on health care reform.....boy we can afford that.
Ha ha this is funny. So he has changed his mind again? This is not surprising. Next week it will be something different.Aside from your being dead wrong again
I love tax cuts but I want them across the broad. I want them to go to the people who create jobs. You know the so called rich. So, let me get this straight - you oppose those tax cuts, yes?

LOL. Every bank in America is cooking their books right now (not to mention GM and others) with the "explicit" cooperation of The United States Government (Barack Obama in command), and without our permission, the sob.
BS. Every elected President has been ethical until proven otherwise. Every President, for the most part, has been educated. So, what does that leave.
