Terrible death of 2 year old Caylee with the Mother acting like nothing ever happened.
Did not even report that her child was missing.
Then claimed she left her with a fictitious and never found nanny.
Party girl to the end who made accusations of incest against her brother, her father, and child abuse by her parents.
Horrible, horrible, horrible end result is the death and discovery of her body.
not guilty of murder.
guilty of giving false information.
OJ all over again...
IMO she deserved at least 20 years for child neglect, lying, and most likely contributing to the death of a child if not outright murder. Sad day for justice....
There was admission of neglect in that 30 day disappearance. Child abuse charges should have stuck.
Murder/ag as could have gone the other way with a smarter prosecuter if she definitely were guilty.
Tragedy is an innocent dead 2 year old, the mother who at least enabled the death, a screwed up family, the people (including the former) will profit, and some faith in the justice system lost(for me child abuse charges should have stuck.. the 2 more serious ones could have gone either way)
I wonder if the jurors would hire her to babysit their kids or grandkids...

America is broke and nearing the brink but this verdict will keep the media - left/right/center busy for at least two weeks to a month.
If only they put in as much time explaining to Americans their financial situation as they do with stories like this - 24/7 coverage on some news channels.
And funny how I've never seen nor heard of weeks-long coverage of any missing black or Latino children...
It comes down to the preamble of Bill of Rights:
All the other rights listed below herein to be known as "The Bill of Rights" are superceded by money.
I think I saw somewhere that the unit of currency was originally going to be called a "justice".

Something happened to Caylee. God will serve the justice. I am disappointed by the outcome and frankly my heart hurts.

Not Guilty =/= innocent.
There's no doubt in my mind that if there is a civil suit she'll be found responsible.
I'm just glad it's over - I've been getting sick of hearing it non stop 24-7.

I suppose it had been pretty a media circus down there.
I had been seeing clips here and there being that CNN is on during the day in the office.
Honestly, I had no idea who the mother was until I saw Caylee's photography. I had no idea the last name was Anthoney. But once you see that child's picture all memory of that episode comes back.
Now the grandparents will never have that grandchild around and doubtful they will have a daughter since she has lied countless times and accused the dad and brother of sexual abuse and incest.
This is a verse from one of Johnny Cash's songs that applies to Casey Anthony....
Well you may throw your rock and hide your hand
Workin' in the dark against your fellow man
But as sure as God made black and white
What's done in the dark will be brought to the light
Justice will be served one way or another.
I think Casey def had involvement, but I honestly think the dad did it and I do not at all think Casey should of got away like she did, she still deserves the punishment I was crossing my fingers for, because as a mother she should of been there to protect her child instead of partying.
I was listening to some attorneys claim the downfall was over-prosecuting...asking for the death penalty. This put the bar much higher than the evidence supported to come right out and say you are seeking the death penalty.
Perhaps no one wanted to send this girl to her death on circumstantial evidence.
She was found not guilty on aggravated child abuse AND aggravated manslaughter which doesn't carry the death penalty, so to suggest the jurors were influenced by the death penalty in making their decisions is complete nonsense.
I thought at the very least, she should would of been found guilty of aggravated manslaughter.. What a incredibly incompetent jury this was, as well as the prosecution who had 3 years to work on this case and present it to a jury.. Justice clearly did not prevail, Not only was this innocent Girl robbed of justice, She was robbed of being brought into this world by a loving Mother.

nice to see Dr.G on stand. I watch her show every week when I can.
I haven't been following the trial close enough to give my opinion but there's a murder still on the loose.
