Getting back to the subject, both Obama and his vice president stated explicitly and emphatically while serving in the U.S. Senate that the president did not have authority to take the nation into armed conflict without the express will of the U.S. Congress or unless the nation was under attack or faced imminent attack. Reminds me of one of Biden's priceless quotes, "This is a big f*cking deal".
On a related topic:
I find it interesting that Obama can help establish a no-fly zone and an air attack half way around the world in Libya for a billion+ taxpayer dollars, but we can't seem to be able to get a no-illegal-entry zone on our borders for any amount of money?
