That's true, republicans don't spend their life poor, waiting for the government. Bush helped himself to a lot of government money, and made a fortune that way. Rumsfeld, Cheney, big oil, arms producers, Blackwater, and similar outfits - you're right, they didn't simply sit there and wait, they all made it happen, they made sure the government would take care of them. Long live crony capitalism.I am a Republican because I don't want to spend the rest of my life poor, waiting for Government to take care of me
I'm not implying Democrats are any better btw. You could probably find examples to prove anything on both sides. Warren Buffet seems to be affiliated with Obama. I don't think he ever waited for the government to take care of him.
The big question remains though, when will we see raidergirl run for office? And will you remember your friends at dnf? If you introduce domainer friendly legislation, we'll reelect you, even if you're a republican. And we won't mind if you get rich.

A little too much egg nog today?
My question is this though. What's the point in having a "political message" in your signature on a domain forum.
Isn't this a forum where we come to talk, buy and sell domains etc?"
That's a good point.

It doesn't matter which party. Both are working for the same group. 20-25% of the US population will be on some form of government or charitable assistance by the end of 2009. You can place the blame where ever you like but what you can't deny is that is was all highly orchestrated. Until people figure this out then nothing can be done. Unfortunately it will likely be too late.
And they have their own side, which isn't the same as yours
Americans like to think they have a vibrant democracy but that democracy has long been confiscated by bipartisan politics. What is means is that even the most incompetent party is guaranteed years in office, just because the ruling party must be sanctioned at some point. You don't really have a choice actually, because there is no real alternative.
A duopoly is hardly better than a monopoly (one-party rule).
Personally I think the partisan system is BS (no just in the US) and it's all a sham. Good governance is neither left or right.
A truly sovereign, independent individual should have no party allegiance at all.
I'm afraid a Domainer Party would only represent 0.00001%of the US population![]()
Mine is better.Raidergirl has a nice signature:

You're not an independent. IMO you come across as very very liberal. Both parties are different in many ways especially on social issues....abortion, gay marriage, gun rights, religious freedom etc.... On the other hand when it comes to spending they have been very similar for the last 16 years which has been very disappointing to me.
I never look at a rainbow the same anymore.![]()
