I don't know about the FEDS, but the local NC govt are bastards.
If I am one day late with my taxes I get a $40 penalty and 4% monthly penalty.
One time, I owed $4 in taxes and it ended up costing me $130 after fees and fines to "make things even."
Why don't these "career" politicians get charged any late fees or penalties?
