I like GM cars, but now that Government is taking it over, I doubt we'll ever buy another.

Please vote Republican in 2012, America can not sustain another 4 years
of Liberal policies that are fiscally and socially destroying the country.

Soon they will have Obama cars which are made out of tin foil and are 3 feet long. I'll be one of the first in line.

What is an "American" car now anyway? Many "foreign" or "imports" are made here in the USA while companies like Chrysler (I think it was them) attempted to close plants to ship the plant overseas (this was shot down as part of their restructuring).

"Made in the USA" doesn't mean anything near what it used to. If you want something truly American, go buy a Harley or a John Deer (but I'm sure a lot of those, even the parts, are made overseas).

My biggest beef is the unions. You have two people, one in a union plant and another in a non-union plant. The one in the union plant is getting paid $40 to do the same exact job someone in the non-union plant is doing for $20. (Also, most "American" auto plants are unionized while most "foreign" auto plants (in the USA) are not unionized).

Don't sit there and blame one side or one factor when it is an industry that has been doing downhill for over a decade.

Get ready for mandatory OnStar in EVERY vehicle they make...big brother getting bigger than ever. Please note, I love the OLD GM, however...I was forced to cancel my order on the new 2010 Camaro SS due to the mandatory inclusion on OnStar in the car's system complete with GPS tracking and basically total control over you & your car via remote - and no ability to defeat or remove it.

I like Obama, I like GM..but I DON'T like them thrown in the blender together...very bad.

Expect prices of classic cars to continue to rise as a result of all of this...sky high.

Ford is a great stock to buy right now...expect to see a steady increase in it's price in the next 3-6 months. Bargain priced right now at just around $6/share.
I'm buying credit, banking, loan, insurance related generics in .com, .net, .org with high search volumes/traffic. Will consider typos too! - PLEASE PM with name, info, & asking price!

Once you see the crap coming off the GM assembly line, you'll be liking him a lot less.

I think most of us knew this was coming after Obama continued to throw good money after bad, Unless the economy picked up and consumers started buying cars again, GM was destined for bankruptcy.

And don't think Obama and his Socialist friends in congress didn't know, They wanted a stake in GM so they could control it.

I hate to think what the new Government built cars will look like, my guess is they will look something like this.
