That's just goofy. My point is. If President Obama does not say stop this. Then it seems he wants a mob of supporters that create fear, fear to excise your right to freedom of speech.
Boycotts have been promoted by various groups, for various things, all over the political spectrum. 99.99999% of them are utterly ineffective anyway. The Baptists didn't bring Disney to its knees, and I doubt anyone is going to bring down Whole Foods or Fox News by bothering advertisers.
But as a "free speech" issue - that's nonsense. The CEO of Whole Foods has every right to express his opinion. People who don't agree with him have every right to express their opinion, and to choose where to spend or not spend their money.
There are still crazy people who won't buy Procter and Gamble products because they think the logo is a secret satanic symbol. Whatever.
The other funny thing is your use of the term "mob". Umm.... people who don't show up at an amusement park, fast food restaurant, or grocery store are quite the opposite of a "mob".
But I thought you, of all people, would support the notion of people getting upset about - whatever - and taking free market action to express themselves.
