In a robo-call, Palin called Ayotte a "Granite Grizzly," and added that "she's the true conservative running for the U.S. Senate in New Hampshire."
Palin's endorsement earlier this summer and Ayotte's support by many national Republicans may have backfired in fiercely independent New Hampshire.
From what I understand, she won by a small margin of perhaps less than 1000 votes.
We have lineage from my great-great grandmother (her great-great-great). And, if longevity is any indication, Kelly may be in New Hampshire politics for a long time as great-great grandma lived to be 104 and grandma lived to be 101.

Not if the people who are posting "Not ------>" signs next to the Ayotte signs have their way... LOL

For the sake of the people of New Hampshire, I hope your cousin is a true conservative and NOT a Leftist pretending to be a conservative. (yes, I'm referring to you) I think the last thing this Country needs is another Olympia Snowe in the Senate.
If She's a true conservative, she'll be a successful politician for many years.... If her genetics are anything like yours are, one who's on the losing side of almost every issue, her career as a politician will be very short lived.
Please vote Republican in 2012, America can not sustain another 4 years
of Liberal policies that are fiscally and socially destroying the country..
Raider you are out of luck here. She is a Leftist pretending to be a conservative. She is related to Doc and lives in a state where liberal thinking is predominant.
I'll bet that you are on the losing side of this one.
And Palin has swayed me not on iota on in my thinking. She may be able to sway with the wind, but not in my book.
I get a big kick out of all those who have been saying what a sweep the GOP is going to have. Looks to me that the GOP and DEM incumbants are being swept out.
What does this mean? It means no one is really voting on issues but voting on passions of getting whoever is seated out.
The GOP is absolutely fuming at the results because the good old boy club is being dismantled right before their very eyes.
Think the Tea Party has some winners? Then you really need to take a long look at the fckn nutjob for the GOP nominee for Governor or NY. If you want to see a real piece of work, watch the interview a couple days ago with Rick Sanchez of CNN and Carl Paladino. This nutjob is on national TV saying the proposed mosque in New York City is not a matter of religion and he can keep it from happening by claiming eminent domain. Imagine that, making such an asinine comment (look up the meaning of eminent domain) on national television for the sole purpose of not allowing muslims to build a mosque, and then - claim that religion has nothing to do with it.
I've seen a lot of people on this Forum misinterpret and take posts completely out of context, we see it all the time... But with you, well you take it to a whole new level, so much that I seriously think your stupid.
And try to educate yourself on Red and Blue States, New Hampshire has long been the most conservative state in the Northeast, even though it went blue in 2008 for Obama, (which I'm sure the citizens of New Hampshire deeply regret), the state remains quite conservative.
I hope he is elected and I hope he does claim eminent domain at that location, what a great idea.... I'm sure most New Yorkers and especially the victims families of 911 would much rather see a School or Government building in that location, than a Mosque that promotes a Religion that has a LONG history of violence and terrorism associated with it.
I'll take that guy you call a GOP "nut job" over a mosque that gives birth to a whole mess of nut jobs any day.

Dear Raider, I was only trying to challenge that faint hope you may have had for her being a REAL conservative. How else would I be justified in saying "Ill bet you are on the losing side of this one." Sure it was out of context and you fell for it.
I know that NH has voted democratic during the last 4 presidential elections. Until it goes Red or becomes a swing state the majority are liberal thinkers.
Doc, I saw the interview with Rick Sanchez. I like how Rick wasn't threatened by Carl. Does this guy seriously think he will get on national tv and make a claim that eminent domain supersedes the right to practice one's religion? Even Rick pointed this out to him. This guy is only a demagogue.
Funny how New Hampshire is considered one of the most conservative states in the US yet has one of the most liberal cities in the USA (Portsmouth, NH). (Or at least they were).
It's like night and day once you get into Portsmouth.

I was not paying attention when the interview started and missed the introduction. As it went on, and he was identified as the winner of the GOP nomination for the Gov. of NY. Listening to him reminded me was like listening to someone from the Nazi or Fascist era. As Rick pointed out, essentially everyone who does not agree with you is wrong. Hmm, reminds me of someone else we are familiar with.

I spent a lot of time in the White Mountains growing up camping and hiking. "The Old Man in the Mountain" is gone - how horrible. Later in the early teens, we hit the beaches all along lower NH to Mass Line of Hampton Beach, Seabrook, and so on.
As for NH politics, well...anything can happen. As for becoming a red state, very doubtful. Plus, Kelly won the primary, not the main election.
I think all New Yorkers will have to do is pay attention to his message (particularly as well as how it is delivered) when the time comes for debates.
If he were to have any hope at all at winning the Governor's seat, the GOP would have to take the playbook and script of Palin in 2008 - keep her (him) away from the media.
So is this a new trend in politics, women with more testosterone than men being elected?![]()
Who knows what the trend is. The biggest (and worst trend I see) is people jumping on the anti-incumbent train without knowing the new candidate's platform or values are. Voting to simply vote someone is far from being informed. I think every one is in for a surprise when these newly elected people start going solo in their allegiances.
Sarah Palin, one of the best fundraisers Progressives and Democrats have ever had. You go girl.Originally Posted by Doc Com;

They have the message of "they are wrong and I am right". No substance, no plans, no actions, no corrective decisions...just a message of self-serving egomaniacs.
Even though Palin and Beck are instrumental for democratic fund raising the sheer number of their supporters is quite scary. They both have an audience that will believe anything they say without proof. I don't think they are being challenged enough by democrats or independents.
Well, they are shepherds for the sheeple. And as shepherds, the must tend to their flock - including pulling the wool over their eyes.
And now we have to consider his holiness Gingrich as being the new Ayatollah of the GOP?
Look...honestly, I am a registered Republican. Somebody show me something better that what we have now. Most importantly, show me somebody that will not drive the bus over the edge we are teetering on, that the previous drivers (Bush et al) placed us.
