What taxes are we talking about? Theres all kinds of taxes.

    For instance, you remember when Obama made this pledge;

“I can make a firm pledge. Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes.” He also said, “You will not see any of your taxes increase one single dime.”

He broke that pledge soon after he was sworn in, when he signed a bill raising the federal tax on cigarettes by over 60 cents a pack, I suppose your going to tell me that only the rich earning over 250K smoke cigarrettes right?.

    Not a dime huh?

    LMAO.

You know what I mean. I was exagerating but saying it must be an Obama sign because it looks new is one hell of a reach.

Read my lips..no..new..taxes.. Breaking promises is nothing new. I don't want to come off as an Obama cheerleader because I am not. Do I think he is better for America than Bush, yeah but that doesn't say much.

What bothers me most is that Obama is similar to many politicans, even the ones you hail as heros yet because hes not on your "side" hes the bad guy. Its the exact same thing liberals did with Bush. Its too bad most people can't see past that. Politics has devolved into a sharade that best resembles the superbowl. People cheer on "their" team, just because they are "their" team and want to see the other guy get creamed.

Yeah, The media and all the Bush haters had no problem calling out Bush Sr. on "Read my lips..no..new..taxes" but they refuse to call out Obama on his broken pledge of raising taxes.
I'm still waiting for his free pass to be over.

As for Obama being better for America than Bush, I dont see how anyone can come to that conclusion, Aside from the wars were still fighting, we have a President who is absolutely clueless on the economy, One who is pushing for socialistic change and taking the Country in a direction the American people DONT want to go.

I'll agree with you that many voters have no political ideology when step in the voting booth, It couldn't be more evident than it was in this election, It was as though the issues didn't matter.

This has always been the case. Politicians get elected by looks, manliness, oratory skills, political affiliation, race, religion, age and a score of other non-ideological issues.

I've been saying for years that not much will change until we let R's and D's BOTH know what we're supposed to have the power - not them.

Too bad most US voters are uneducated to the point of just being lemmings to whoever is prettier to them (metaphorically speaking).

It's sad that you only hear about 2 out of the 13 candidates that were on Florida's ballot last year. I can't even find the numbers for how many people votes for the other 11. The government, the media, and lobbyists are too concerned with keeping R's and D's in power that they ignore the other options and give all their money to R's and D's.

Maybe if the masses woke up and did a little research.

In a two party winner take all system, it's extremely unlikely non R&D candidates are going to get any real power.

Because those in power choose to do it this way.

But - we have done similar before, as recently as last year's primary.

In the beginning the media and the Democrats were all over Hillary. They all wanted Hillary to win. Lobbyists got in on it and wanted her to win.

But then the people went a different path and started to vote Barak in. First it was slowly but before anyone knew what was happening he was in front. the media tried to stop it but failed and Barak won the nomination. It was close and to the end - heck, she even insisted her name be on the official nomination ballot.

It can be done on that level but it would take a lot more work from the US population to get something more drastic.

Yep but the laws benefit those with the real power and they are the ones who control the laws.

    Conflict of interest? Yep.
    Shady and immoral? Yep.

    But that's how politics work.

Where did the money come from to pay for the Medicare Drug Benefit passed a few years ago?

    No where.
IT WAS NEVER FUNDED AND NEVER PAID FOR!

Where did the money come from to pay for the war in Afghanistan?
    No where.

Where did the money come from to pay for the war in Iraq?
    No Where

Where did the money come from to pay for reserve units to deploy to the US/Mex border?
    No where

Where did the money come from to bail out the big bankers last year?
    No where

These are all unpaid debts that have not been paid for and funded from day one and have been passed on year after year after year.

At what point did everyone expect that the bill would be due at some point?
Or did we think it would never show up?

Ah, Now it's; "No one can look at that sign and truthfully say this is not applicable to the previous administration."

What happened to the "court order?" The one you made up?

Just curious, How long did it take you to SPIN the sign to the previous admin?.. You must of been working on it for days.

    Unfortunately, it doesn't wash

More lies than the ones previously told?

I guess you have me there.

The biggest lie in the history of mankind?

    WMD's in Iraq.

Then again, I guess there would have to be, there MUST be something found in order to say he was not lying.

Therefore, in the same token and in keeping with philosophical discussion...

there is no established time limit on finding anything therefore no one can say he was lying because of an indeterminate amount of time to prove him wrong.

Therefore, a lie is not established until there is proof to the contrary and the mere fact of finding nothing (at the moment) is not cause enough to lay claim that he lied.

We simply have not found it...yet.

Wow, that sounds too much like a GOP spindoctor to me.

Obama "No taxes on the middle class". Oops, drawing up a middle class tax plain now.

Obama "My stimulus plan will save the economy". Get ready for the wall street crash in 2010

After 2010 every one is going to have 50+% of their income taken by (including the poor) Uncle Sam and President OBAMA
