I was wondering if what happened in Egypt would spread to other nearby countries. Iran has a large young population with different ideas than the leadership. It will all depend on how fed up the people are. Any population can overthrow their own government if they are large and determined enough.

It's not just the "young" people. When I was in college I had a good friend who was born and raised in Teheran (sp?) - she had only been in the US a couple of years and even then (15+ years ago) the people wanteda new ("democratic") government and "western" industries (McDonalds, Levis, etc..).
