What, an apology from the USDA and the Obama Administration wasn't enough?
Maybe someone at Fox should be fired, then rehired/promoted....
Ooooh, wouldn't it be awesome if that person was white?!?!?

Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!Fox News makes me cringe every time I hear something come off its broadcast. This so called news organization misrepresented Shirley Sherrod by airing only PART of a video segment that allegedly portrayed Sherrod as a racist who didn't want to help a white farmer when she was in a position to.
As it turns out the NAACP was able to obtain the entire video where Sherrod explained how she was tempted not to help the farmer because of some experiences she had endured in her life including the murder of her father by someone who happened to be white. She didn't give in to that temptation and decided to help this farmer. This farmer and his wife have since gone on air (yesterday) to vouch for the integrity of Sherrod.
Who knew that recounting a story about how you overcame a form of prejudice would cost you your job for no other reason than that a well known news organization such as Fox News would spin your own words and proclaim that you are "blatantly admitting to being a racist on camera"? To top it off when Fox News learned about the exact context of her admission and how unprofessional they had been they responded by pondering:
"Did the white house essentially railroad an innocent women in this because they are on edge themselves about the Van Jones controversy..."
Huh? WTF? Is Fox News serious? They created a negative spin which the white house stupidly bought as real news and now the blame is on the white house?

Fox News needs to make a public apology to this woman and whoever was in charge of creating this spin in the first place needs to resign. There are too many people who watch Fox News and treat it as the holy grail of news sources. These viewers will believe anything O'Reilly, Hannity, Beck and co say. Fox News has to stop creating spin news and start telling the news as it is, for its sake, for the viewers' sake and for the sake of freedom of speech.

If you think Fox should apologize, you must also think MSNBC should apologize to FOX News and Rush Limbaugh for doing the EXACT SAME THING in their broadcasts.... It seems that every time I tune into their station, they are either Republicans or trashing Fox News with snip-its, slanting what was actually discussed.
Why is that Democrats and Liberals always demand apologies from Republicans and Conservatives, but NEVER apologize themselves when they do the SAME damn thing?
If only you people held your own party to the same standard, they wouldn't be as out of control as they are right now.
Please vote Republican in 2012, America can not sustain another 4 years
of Liberal policies that are fiscally and socially destroying the country..
The entire matter was started by ANDREW BREITBART who edited the original video to show only about 2.5 minutes.
He has admitted that he meant it as a slap back at the NAACP (for its statement on the Tea Party) and did not intend to get the person in the video in trouble.
But, Breitbart said this on Hannity:
The whole point was to show that the — for the NAACP to spend five days on national TV saying that the Tea Party is racist without any evidence when we can prove that the central argument didn't happen and the mainstream media won't play it — for them to talk about racism they should not be throwing stones in glass houses.
Breitbart has yet to apologize for doctoring and editing and broadcasting the video.
When they apologize for dropping the case against the Black Panthers for a open and shut case of voter intimidation, Do let us know.
If this were a White group that did this, Obama, Eric Holder and all these other black activists would be all over it... But a Black group? NO WAY... They get to walk because their BLACK.
You want to see what a group of racists looks like? Here you go;
For those who don't what I'm referring to, Here's the story;

Well I don't know why the Black Panthers case was dropped. I was referring to the Shirley Sherrod situation.
Thanks for bringing Andrew Breitbart to our attention, Doc Com. He did not act in a professional manner and needs to apologize as well. Fox News can't be excluded either. It was too trigger happy to support Breitbart's view without investigation. We don't expect this of any news organization. Pouncing on material and readying it for broadcast without conducting detailed inquiries is unprofessional in the world of news.
Raider, conservatives are always demanding apologies much like liberals.
