I almost went to work for Rupert in the mid 80's.

At times many question his motives and dealings. I have to give him some credit. Whereas he was buying up print media, he was capable of seeing the future of the internet and the decline of print media so he started putting money into internet based businesses.

The difference is that Fox gives both sides air time. Before they came along you had nothing but liberal bias.

Aww... is that all you have? Can't defend the topic on hand so you want to steer the thread in direction of your puppeteer's?

You're blinded by your hatred for Fox News so I don't see any point to discussing it further.

Why don't we just say we have a substantial group of people who see FOX news as a bunch of manipulating sleeze balls and we have another group who like FOX because they always support their radical unsustainable opinions....whether they be right or wrong....true or false. The mostly republican group of radical righters can always depend on FOX to support them.

Lets just agree to disagree on this issue

Right wing, left wing, what ever....

I just find them to be loud and annoying and misleading.

That is why I always stress getting one's news from multiple sources.

Daily, I listen to or read:

    CNN
    NPR
    MSNBC
    Reuters
    BBC
    Time
    Fox News (online only)
    New York Times

That is just for national and international news.

It is so easy to set up your desktop to have all of this information as your home page. You can use

Google's iGoogle or Chrome and set up these widgets
Safari also has a cool feature showing all of those sites
NetVibes is one I have used in the past

I like iGoogle and NetVibes the best for ease of use.

National and international and local news feeds are my home page along with weather and a personal Calendar.

Additional pages (tabs) with multiple feeds are

    Healthcare News
    Technology News
    Domain News

Multiple sources, multiple points of view.

Anything one sided is simply poison, in my opinion.

I don't get fox news here in Canada but was under the impression they cater to conservatives. I know Hannity had Colmes but since he has left who else is representing the "other" side?

You have to separate Fox's opinion shows from its news shows. Hannity, Beck and O'reilly are commentators who do opinion shows.People like Shepherd Smith,Chris Wallace and Greta Van Susteren do news shows.

Actually, I do peak in on the Onion from time to time.

Their news broadcasts are hilarious and sound like their dead serious.
