Very different than leading us into America's first preemptive war that has cost our Country 748 billion dollars and was kept off the books and behind our backs so that they could get away with it. Add to that the severe lack of regulation that helped to lead us into the worst recession since 1929.

Speaking of healthcare, the money Bush spent on his elective war could have payed for 1,000,000 healthcare centers all around our Country.

Not to mention the tens of thousands of wounded soldiers from Iraq as well as the potential untold tens of thousands with PTSD.

The cost to take care of those soldiers will be in the tens of trillions over their lifetimes. Yes, we owe that to them but the same song is being sung - how and by whom do we pay for this?

As I mentioned, the GOP is hoping for a voter with a very short attention span and memory. I hate to paraphrase a cliche, but, as many political analyst put it, Why would we want to give the vehicle keys back to those that drove it off the cliff?

What was that deficit again? Oh yeah Bush added 5 Trillion in 8 years, I'm not too happy about that either, I dont think other Republicans are either... But when you look at Bush did and what Obama is doing, it really pails in comparison to Obama's rampant spending, Racking up 3 TRILLION in only a year and a half? If Obama and Congress continue at this pace and is re-elected (that wont happen) he would add 15 TRILLION Dollars to the National Deficit, 3 TIMES what Bush added.

Add to that the severe lack of regulation that helped to lead us into the worst recession since 1929.

Your memory must be slippin... The Bush administration tried to regulate Fannie and Freddy, remember that you fool? how convenient you overlook that fact, It was your Democratic friends in Congress; Chris Dodd and Barney Frank that blocked it remember?...... And how convenient your overlook the fact that Democrats controlled both houses of congress for 2 years, that led to the melt down.... Anyone who blames Bush for the meltdown suffers from ignorance or pure stupidity, which one are you suffering from?.

You can say the same thing about the $787 BILLION Dollars that Obama blew on the Porkulus Bill, $787 BILLION that was intended to CREATE jobs and keep the unemployment rate at 8% or less, What's it been at now for over 1 year, 10%?....

You can oppose the war all you want, or argue whether or not we should of gone.. Fact is were there and we need to deal with it... The war cost $709 Billion over a period of 7 1/2 years under Bush, The Porkulus Bill cost $787 Billion in less than 2 years under Obama and it didn't do SH*T to create jobs.


Now since your so good at math and calculating how many health care centers could of been built, Calculate just these 3 for me OK?

Barack Obama's inauguration gala: $150,000,000
Air Force One's New York fly over: $328,835
Michelle Obama's recent vacation to Spain: $400,000

Total: $150,728,835

And speaking of Michelle Obama, Why is this modern day Fat Ass dumping our tax dollars into a Foreign countries economy? Why not spend that money here in the USA and help our economy instead?

Try relearning history and some Economics. Lack of regulations didn't create this recession or the one in 1929, excessive regulations did!

Excessive regulations? as they relate to the recent or 29 crash?

Regarding the recent (or even historical) you can have all the regulations in the world to protect interests. But lack of oversight, enforcement, graft, corruption, turning a blind eye, bribes, and literally "getting in bed" with the industry you are supposed to be regulating causes the greatest damage (a la MMS).

Regulations are one thing - enforcement and proper oversight and due diligence in regards to regulations are an entirely different matter.

I have heard talk about imposing tariffs on ALL imported goods. The rationale, from an economics point of view, is not so much taxes but a methodology of getting imported goods in line with the cost of US goods as a means of making it appear that there is no benefit to US manufacturers to take jobs overseas. If the cost of producing goods and importing them into the USA is in line with production costs of USA made goods, the jobs would return.

It is nice to think that in theory.

Is the starting source that I've provided not credible. Try reading Milton Friedman as well. He received a Nobel Prize. Instead of just shooting out media accepted know how, try quoting your sources.
