I'm not a big Glenn Beck fan but if I had to invest money on either Glenn Becks or Keith Olbermanns success, I'd choose Beck in a heartbeat.... Strange we haven't heard from Keith in a while, I did see a commercial of him advertising "Current TV". If your going to advertise a clown, what better station to do it on than the "Comedy Channel? LMAO!!
When a cable show feels it necessary to advertise on other cable channels, you know the show is in trouble.

Success basically relies on being the opposite to whoever is in power. Beck would not be near as popular if a republican was in office.

That's not what history has shown... If this is true, how did Rush Limbaugh and other conservative radio hosts manage to stay on the radio for 8 years with high ratings during the Bush years?
And during those same years, how come Liberal "Air America Radio" hosted by Al Franken FAILED in the ratings? It was so bad over there they swindled the tax payers out of $480,000 to keep their show on the radio, this was all during the Bush years.

Smart people don't sit by the TV waiting to hear from others in order to have an opinion, they gather it themselves through the actions of each administration and via facts. You have to have an incredibly low IQ to 1.) Watch Fox News and take them seriously 2.) Listen to Rush Limbaugh and take him seriously.
The reason Fox and Friends get such high ratings is because they publish and announce FALSE stories to their simple minded viewers who eat it up without fact checking, not to mention the majority of our Population here in the U.S. is just plain ol' stupid.
All the tea partiers got boners just hearing the news.
