Whether domain "speculation" as you call it has been over inflated, only the markets will decide, time will tell.
IMO quality domains will prove to be a fine investment.
It beats me why people come onto this forum to spread doom and gloom, being a "glass half full" kind of guy, I can't see any point in the endless threads knocking domaining, unless it's some perverted form of "shadenfreude".
GOING BACK TO 1995 - Why Domains are over-inflated
Then the logical solution would be a false deflation of the market.
Instead of profiting, every one should sell their names for $49.95 which I believe was reg fee then.
I don't remember anyone "collecting" domain names back then so there was no need to ask for more than reg fee because chances are if you wanted it, it was available.
Yeah i mean you cannot get a better ROI anywhere example i bought a domain for £37 and sold with 10 days fro £900.......if you can find a better investment let me know ?
