Oh, okay...so exactly how safe is our shipping ports?
How is that plan to hire more inspectors, install machines that and "peer" inside the containers, and install radiation detectors coming along?
Oops, no funding! All the resources have gone into guarding the oil fields.
Where do you think the next biological or radiological weapon will come from and how it was smuggled into the country? A shipping port? Or along the Mexican or Canadian border?
Golly, Mexico is real secure. Dubya appropriated funds for a "virtual fence". I feel "virtual safe" knowing that a 170 mile virtual fence is standing guard along a 2900 mile border.
This is where I have to give the terrorists the edge...they know they struck at the core of the US and they know the US is going to be on guard.
So you strike out at US interests elsewhere.
Now, tell me again? All the pirates want to do is eat? Oh, I see...so being the good somali pirates that they are, they share in the ransom monies paid to buy food for their country.
And their new faster boats with longer range and weapons that are above the small arms fire classification just magically appear. And not a penny of that money goes to Al Qaeda or to support radical groups who are attempting to make that entire region an islamic extremists stronghold.
So, if I should happen to one day decide to accompany one of our shipping containers from Florida to Ethiopia, I should bring extra feed to feed them. I can just dump Cheetos and Taco Bell and Krispy Kreme donuts over the side of the ship and they will leave us alone.
Pure damn genius.
