Well, I think it's entirely fair to say that Palin certainly isn't a normal man.
What sort of man goes around wearing a dress and having a vagina?!

Sara Palin is a very intelligent Woman. Democrats and the media tried to destroy her and it didn't work. She wasn't a negative to the campaign but an asset. She got conservatives interested again in the process. You seem to believe everything you hear in the mainstream media about her which surprises me Tas38.

Barack Obama has 4 years to fix the financial mess that was caused mostly by the Democrats to begin with. If he cannot he'll be gone with most Democrats joining him. The ball is in their court now so they can't blame anyone else but themselves from now on.
Palin may have motivated conservatives (though I think the impact faded throughout the campaign) but the thing is, you need a ticket that will bring people from both sides together. You can't win an election with only conservatives or only democrats.

In a way Palin seemed like a sacrificial lamb, someone who was to say the more right wing stuff that McCain wouldn't be able to get away with saying. She didn't strike me as being intelligent but unfortunately both Palin and McCain were mostly just GOP mouthpieces, unable to be themselves. This seemed especially evident by McCains consession speech, which gave many people a glimpse of the real McCain.

Sarah Palin did appeal to a good many of certain type people, both male and female and if she runs again she will get that same group support. Unfortunately for her and the GOP she's not likely to get many more supporters than she already has. Some people totally disregarded her lack of qualifications in favor of her winning smile and cheer leading abilities, but this is not so important to the big majority of people. The big majority are looking at the real qualifications of the person when it comes to such an important job as VP and President. Many of the top level republicans recognize this fact and thats why there was so much criticism of her from her own party.

I think even McCain realized he made a big mistake in picking her but for him it was too late to turn back and he tried to make the best of what he had. She will probably be forgotten long before 2012.
