The answer to the global warming fraud? Flag these posts!

It is prohibited to dupe unsuspecting people into believing scientific fraud - is it not?

Doing this is perfectly in the realm of kosher craigslist flagging.

I always find it funny when some tv reporter tells us that the ice at the North Pole is getting thinner....how can that be? It never gets anywhere near to freezing point, let alone above it - so how could the ice be getting thinner? It's impossible.

Another thing - they report that sea levels are going to rise by several feet within (depending on who's reporting it that day) 20, 30, 40 years....so what are any governments doing about providing defenses against this?

Answer: Nothing. Not even in The Netherlands which is pretty much all at sea-level.

If someone tells you it's going to snow but they go out in a t-shirt and shorts, would you believe them?

The only visible thing that any gov has implemented as far as I can see, is a raft of new taxes in the name of the environment. Surely the better thing to do would be to stop the destruction of the rain forests which clean the air...

I feel sorry for those that blindly refuse to see the environmental destruction of the planet, the accelerated pace at which it happens and the critical mass that it has reached. I feel sorry for those that blindly refuse to see the environmental destruction of the planet, the accelerated pace at which it happens and the critical mass that it has reached. I was just reading today that approx. 40% of the people in the US believe global warming may be a fraud.....I personally contribute that to the Bush adminstration who kept the truth from the american people for the last 8 years. Look for this to change in the coming years as Obama makes sure the true facts are published as they are reported by the climate scientists. There are a whole lots of folks who have a lot of catching up to do in regards to the truth of the matter.

My problem, is that the people telling us how bad it is...and taxing everything they possibly can in the name of it...don't actually appear to be following their own advice. I mean, if they believed what they're telling us, surely they should be doing something about it. The projections for 30 years hence show roughly 30-40% of the UK under water; the authorities are still granting permission to build on our current floodplains.

Like people handing out investment advice, I don't care what they say, I care what they do...

I live near the coast, and there has been no difference in sea levels as far as I or anyone else can see, over the past 40 years. But taxes, oh yeah, there's a lot of new taxes.

Another thing - I've seen various scientists who's names are on these reports, who vehemently disagree with the findings, and can't get their names taken off despite their protests!

Thank you so much for allowing me to post my beliefs and anything I consider facts in this forum.....I don't usually give special thanks for this but since you have so graciously given me permission I feel I should at least thank you for it. -The earth has been cooling lately.

-The earth was significantly warmer during 800 to 1300 which actually was conducive to life. Brits were growing grapes for wine! Vikings grew crops on Greenland

It is my opinion that a cooling effect is more detrimental than a warming effect. The flux in temperature is always happening. Common sense and logic suggest the sun is the culprit for the seesaw change in temperatures...not a trace element.

What we have witnessed with the global warming hysteria is being done to put a tax on life so big oil and related companies can maintain their stranglehold on the world.

We already can run a car on waste vegetable oil. We already know powering our lives with fossil fuels can be replaced with Tesla coils....The problem is the billion dollar oil companies do not want anyone to use environmentally sound technology. Their solution? Keep everyone in the broken fossil fuel system and tax them so they and Government can regulate the flawed, broken system.

A local company manufactures filters for fast food waste oil as well as install the conversions. Additionally, the are also a retail station for the waste oil food.

Their business is booming and they are backed months up and are recommending self installation.

I can not even begin to imagine if more fleet vehicles, especially school districts, widely adopted this.

The cost might be $2500 per vehicle but the yearly savings in fuel would be astronomical.

A person locally drove from North Carolina to California and back in a VW Jetta diesel. The only fill up of diesel was here in NC at the start of the trip.

The entire trip cost less than $20 if I am not mistaken.

Went cross country and back on nothing but fast food waste.

Can you even begin to imagine the millions saved PER SCHOOL DISTRICT?

And that amount would be multiplied by the number of school districts per state?

And then multiply that by 50???

We're talking BILLIONS OF DOLLARS SAVED and put back into the education system into programs were it is needed most.

This whole issue is bothersome BECAUSE - VEGETABLE OIL IS A MANMADE PRODUCT!

It is a renewable resource.

Imagine at many of these midwest grain mills that have the huge silos all lined up.

Imagine if one or two of those were slated to the fuels market.

I quoted a price of $2500 but that was perhaps 3 years ago. That included the kit, filter, installation of all of that plus an auxillary fuel tank. The auxillary fuel tank is for actual diesel (perhaps 4-5 gallons) to only be used during start up. Your grease and your diesel will have a tendancy to gel when not in use or in colder climates. There are anti gel additives that you can put into diesel fuel. The engine would start up and run on diesel until its sensors detected that the vegetable oil was at the proper consistancy and automatically switch over to that fuel.

This is not a dream because it is actually being used. It is saving small fleets here in NC hundreds of thousands in fuel and maintanance costs and larger fleets in the millions.

When diesel was recently almost $5.00 a gallon, they had processed and filtered waste fuel for less than $2.50 and only that high because it was their retail facility and affected by corn and grain speculators.

I know a guy who has a 1972 Land Cruiser that was built for and powered by propane. He had to specially order this as I think they were originally designed for African safari type places or deserts.

I think he may still have it although I have not seen him in many years.

I would imagine the engine is still strong as ever because of less moving parts.
