He's NOT being criticized because of the color of his skin, what he's being criticized for is his disasterous policies and decisions of the last 19 months, That's what he's being criticized for.... The reason his supporters do this is because it's next to impossible to defend what this man has done to the Country. How can you defend 3.3 Million Job losses? Ramming Universal Health Care down our throats whether we like or not? Suing the State of Arizona for enforcing existing immigration law? Instructing AG Eric Holder to hold the 911 terrorist's on trial in NYC?, Supporting the Mosque at ground Zero?. The list goes on a on, In almost every case Obama is on the LOSING side of every issue with the American People, and the poll numbers clearly show it.

If Obama was white the Tea Party would still have a movement just as long as this white Obama was a traditional Democrat.

If Obama was white would the birther issue be a problem? Consider that no one doubts that John McCain was born in the US though he was born on a naval station in the Panama Canal which was under US control at the time. In white Obama's case let's just say the medical records and certificate issued by the Hawaii State Dept of Health would have been sufficient even if his father was a white man from the USSR.

If Obama was white somethings would be different. First, some white congressman called Joe Wilson from South Carolina would never have yelled "You lie" when the president is giving a speech. The Republicans wouldn't have mobilized a black man called Alan Keys to leave Maryland for Chicago so he could run against another black man for the Senate seat in 2004. Rush Limbaugh wouldn't have said "I hope Obama fails." Billboards and placards by Tea Party groups wouldn't have likened him to Hitler Or Lenin. Can you imagine even the worst Democratic president in American history being likened to Hitler or Lenin? I can't. Glenn Beck would never have said "I'm not saying he doesn't like white people. I'm saying he has a problem. He has a...This guy is, I believe, a racist." There wouldn't be such terms as Obamanation or Obamacare or Obamanomics.

Kudo's to you. You have just described in detail the "Hoods Off" movement where racist, neonazi's, Aryan Nation, KKK, and other racial hatred groups can mingle in with the Tea Party rallies without having to hide their identity. They simply fit in.

To answer the thread question, I actually think he (Obama) would have romped home if he was fully white, indeed the only thing that seemed to hold the Repugs together was the hope that people would tell pollsters that they would vote Obama but at the ballot box/terminal actually vote against his (Obama's) colour. Mind you with Repugs having Mrs. (I can see Russia from my window) Palin being put forward as a likely contender for 2012 they need all the 'hope' they can get. I bet there are many Repugs who every night after saying their prays are now saying to themselves 'Yes we can!', and then hating themselves when they get a mental picture of Obama and the millions of Americans who support him.
