I saw this on twitter the other day as everyone was tweeting about it.

The take on twitter was like that commercial where people do stupid stuff will texting and the response is "Really"

That was how it was being played out on twitter.

The *only* thing she can really sue for is invasion of privacy but there is no real way to identify her from the video and when you are in a public place like a mall you can't have the expectation of privacy (to an extent).

Girls gone wild made a fortune off of taping girls in public places, will hold no water in court lol, looking for a quick payout just to make it go away. I frequent that mall often, gonna look her up just to laugh. She was not hurt, no one set it up to intentially make a fool of her. Too bad lady, move on. Always wear clean underwear!

Two very important points (perhaps it has already been mentioned):

The security guards laughing and who allowed the monitor to be video'd have been fired. No surprise there.
And had she not come forward, no one would ever had known who it was.

As pathetic and hilarious as this case is, I am sure she'll get a payday out of it.


I just wonder...is "stupidity" a worthwhile defense?

I strongly doubt her attorney knew this when he accepted the case... Anytime you have a criminal background, it works against you in any litigation case.

For somebody to do this and be completely oblivious to her surroundings, you go to believe she's drives while texting too, Drowning her phone that day may just of saved a life.
