I paid 88 bucks for the CD which is totally absurd.
And that is in addition to 2 reference books I had to purchase totaling over $200 bucks.
So here is what I would like to do.
And this is truly for my own personal use.
How can I take the contents of the CD and load them to a site?
If they are online, then I can access the course, lessons, and study plan on my iPad no matter where I am at. Seriously, the online part would be totally and 100% my personal use and no one else would have access.
I have zero knowledge regarding where to start to accomplish this.
What are the contents? E.g. videos, interactive flash, text, audio etc.
Yes, if it's all html on the cd, you could just upload the whole thing to a subdirectory on one of your sites. However, if there are upper case filenames (as most of this sort of cd seems to have), you'll want to put them on a windows server, as 'nix servers are case sensitive. Even apache on a winxp box would work.

Sounds like a windoze program with dlls. Would have to actually install it to run most likely.
Not familiar with tbk files, but guessing it's from here: http://www.sumtotalsystems.com/produ...g-content.html
Hmmmm.. their site says the work produced is .html. You sure there's not a directory on the cd with it in that format?

Print the chapters into a PDF document.
Also a good alternative!

I have a PDF converter and have used it. Only 73 pages were converted and those were sample documents found in the chapters.
Have searched for .tbx (tool box) file conversion and have seen nothing of help.
Might simply be stuck with the disc and not able to upload.

I give up! I have searched for .tbx conversion and thus far nothing has worked. There is so much on that disk in addition to the chapters I need. Even if I could upload the entire disk and open on a site with the iPad I would be tickled.
If there was something like bootcamp for ipads, you could put the whole thing on a usb drive & use it.

Have you thought about using a remote desktop app for your ipad? You could run the disk from your home PC and view it on the ipad?

Thanks everyone. I really, really appreciate the help.
Both of those last suggestions I can try.
I bought the Camera Adapter Set for the iPad. One adapter allows for direct SDC downloading and the other is for direct camera USB-to-iPad that may actually take a USB flash. Currently I do not have a flash drive to hold all the data but may try the USB flash.
I will also look into the remote desktop if that does not work.
There are Radiological and Surgical Procedures/Data on that disc that I need to look at separate from the book chapters. Why they designed it to only open one window at a time is beyond me. Exceptionally flawed and time consuming instructional materials opening and closing and re-opening same windows, back and forth, back and forth...

Update:There is a free app for the iPad called NTRconnect. It does take quite a few steps to activate on both computers (PC and iPad), is not that easy to understand directions, BUT it does work. Very awkward and sluggish but working. I think the best thing for me to do is keep the disc in the tray and access it directly there than on the desktop icon.
There is another app called DESKTOP CONNECT that cost $11.99. I have yet to figure that sucker out. Reviews are okay. But the directions are very difficult to follow as I believe they are translated from German.
Also I just read that Verizon and Google are working on an Android Tablet. The tablet market is going to blow away anything else seen to date. HP bought Palm, has ditched plans to work with Microsoft, and has delayed their tablet (most speculate that it will now have a very sweet Palm OS). With Verizon working with Google on an Android OS Tablet, its looking more and more like Microsoft is the forgotten OS for mobile and tablet applications.
