Eric E. Schmidt appeared in Obama's most recent infomercial, the same Eric E. Schmidt that thought it would be cool to pander to communist China, and not mention Tibet in their Chinese search results, nor any currently imprisoned Chinese journalists/dissidents. Was Obama plugging for Google, or vice versa? I'm not saying that Obama is a communist sympathizer, I'm saying he's absolutely influenced by corporate America, and obviously a very affluent capitalist at heart. After all Fannie Mae contributed several hundred thousand dollars more to Obama than McCain. 600K to 200K, something along those lines...

I'm confused about what rich is. First it was $250,000. Then it was $200,000. Then it was $150,000. Then it was $120,000 - all within a couple of weeks. At that rate, rich will be $10,000 in a few months.

When you finally build a successful business, and then you end up paying 60% or more of your income in taxes - it's your f***ing fault if you voted for Obama.

The tax figures have not changed, only the people talking about them have and his plan been listed on his website for some time...bother to go to the source for the facts yet? Rather listen to spin doctors i see.

Domainers who vote Obama are most likely not very successful, and will never see anything over $50K per year... and even at $50K, they will pay a heavy price for an Obama presidency.

Ok, so it's gone down well past 200K even...

None of this surprises me with Obama, in 8 months he's gone from being pro equal rights for Palestinians, to campaigning for an undivided Jerusalem as the capital of Israel before AIPAC. He went from anti lobbyist, to setting records for corporate campaign contributions. Michael Stipe of REM said Obama is the better choice because he doesn't have a Rolodex of favors to settle up on once elected... Obama is apparently financing his campaign with Monopoly money.

Well said. I make about $40,000 a year and I know if Obama gets in I'll be paying much more in federal taxes. If the polls are to be believed everybody better get ready and bend over.

At $40K, you should be very concerned.

It's really fu**ing pathetic, how many idiots are so g-damn awe-struck by the presence of Obama, with Greek Columns and all the fanfare. Such a great speaker, such charisma, so sincere. But they haven't a clue to what he stands for, and the direction he wants to take this country. And when you ask them what has Obama ever accomplished, that give you a confused look. It's like a g**damn nightmare... they're going to elect someone based on image, looks and misguided belief - and they want "change." The have no clue about what "change" from Obama means. In Obama's case, change means going back to failed socialist ideas that have never worked. Change can be good and change can be bad. These people who are falling for Obama's change have absolutely no clue! Or, maybe those for Obama are people who never expect to make much more than $25K per year (maybe less), and they're selling out their Liberty for a possible handout from the governement, which may be a few hundred dollars to maybe a few thousand dollars (and that's most likely for people who pay no tax --- which the government handout amounts to welfare). They've been so brainwashed into hating Bush, it's like they're voting for Obama for revenge against Bush. Well go educated yourself. If you ever want to really build a business - if you ever intend to be financially successful - if you believe in free enterprise and everything on which our Constitution is based - if you want to leave this country better off for your children and grandchildren - you better get educated, FAST, and make the right decision.

I believe the over 250k income taxes will be increased, while the under $200k income taxes will get a tax cut. That has never changed as far as I can tell, but it can be easily confused.

Looks like you need to do your homework. The tax bracket has stayed at $250k. If you watch the 30 minute infomercial you will see this is the correct number.
