    The Media Elects Our Presidents....

I am watching Chris Matthews and some other idiots who are making a case for Barack Obama rather than objectively discussing both candidates. These sellouts in the name of journalism are steering Americans on whom and how to vote. And Americans, rather then unfold the sheet on candidate records, rather choose to vote based on personality, past administration, rather than what each candidate has accomplished.

I can't believe the disdain they are spewing for John McCain in the garb of a political show. The rhetoric is coming from both sides. Hillary Clinton voted for the war before she was against it. Obama used this to his advantage throughout the primaries. And he goes on to choose Biden as his Veep, who voted for the Iraq war as well. This is beyond shameful. Obama is not worthy of being a president. A lier who will lie to get his presidential goals. This man (Obama) is a phony. A hypocrite. No wonder Americans get sold on words. Shame on Obama. Especially Matthews!

The Chris Matthews show isn't journalism. It is an infomercial for Obama. Why even bother to buy an half hour block when the media, especially NBC can do it for him so effectively?

If the economy was of any concern to Obama, he'd be a little conservative on the millions upon millions he is spending. Just goes to show that he is not too sure of his electability that he has to make his case right down to the last penny.

A community organizer can use a lot of those funds to help poor people in his district.

Go Chris Matthews - You sleaze ball.

There's a simple thing you could do.

Hit the "off" button on your clicker if it disgusts you so much.

Darren, Aren't you where you are (fighting for a belief system) based on distortion? Perception is one thing and lies and deception another.

I wish I could use the clicker as you suggested and make believe that the war does not exist or kids don't get abused.

If we rely on the media for information on facts, they should be accountable to present the facts and not their biased opinions.

I use the clicker when the networks show their demented, perverted shows for kids consumption and there is no outrage or when Obama supports that kids as young as 8 learn about sex education and be able to get contraceptives.

Hope you are ok there. When my business gets better in the months to come, I'd like to be able to support the vets directly in some small way I can afford to. I will get in touch when the time is right for me and if you find this doable.

Thanks Darren. We owe you our gratitude for your service.

Your not supposed to say those things here. I recommend reading Pravda, it's much more objective.

MSNBC is the network of the fools and lairs.
it is pathatic the way they run that network.
    Shame less crooks and thugs.
Coming to your point - The sad part is Chris Matthews is some what reasonable comparing to other nuts who are suc**** Obama constantly as it is part of their mouth.

The issue is them claiming a news network
. (if they call themselves a Obama network that solves the issue)
What they were doing is election fraud - proving service to one party but not showing the time and effort to his election fund contribution.

If Obama gets elected they are the ones he wove big time.

Chris Matthews has thrown aside any appearance of being objective

He is merely an Obama cheerleader

His opinions he is entitled to

But I don't understand why NBC allows their newscasters to throw aside even the appearance of objectivity

When I was growing up - the NEWS used to be based on FACTS

Nowadays, the NEWS is all opinion and spin

I think Darren meant more like turn it off or a year or longer.

You can still get info, news and entertainment on the web. Fox and many others are now allowing you to watch shows online, of course, advertising is a part of the shows.

I have learned better and more information when going through periods of literally no cable or satellite - there have been a couple periods ranging from 1 to 2 years each.

I read more. I got outside more. I watched many youtube videos, helping me attain a reasonable background for a debate/discussion about almost anything.

The media isn't there to shine light on the truth or enhance our spirits. It is there to tell the story that represents profit for shareholders and owners as well as to protect the powers that be and their interests. It is also there to entertain, distract and create meaningless talking points.

Many journalists are merely repeaters, promoting whatever agenda the station decides.

A good flick on google video relating to just that is:

Well said.... MSNBC is doing just what Air America has done and that is stay clear of objectivity and deceive its listeners... They even brought in Rachel Maddow from failing Air America radio.

If Obama is elected, This is all going to come back to haunt them when the world finds out how much of a worthless piece of crap Obama really is.

Which goes to your point that Media is now electing our Presidents for us..... When you twist the truth and deceive millions of viewers day after after day, month after month, it's going to have a impact.

A video of MSNBC disgruntled employees would of been better.

The difference between these two is that Fox is not afraid to air opposing views... MSNBC is.

    NO BS, Just a fact.

    Here's another fact;

While Palin want's to raise Babies and kill taxes, Obama wants to kill Babies and raise taxes.

It's a good thing we have Fox and Rush Limbaugh to offer the objective, fair and balanced counterarguments, eh?

Don't be hypocrites. If you don't like the way a certain network leans, don't watch it. But before you throw stones, at least acknowledge that it happens on both sides, and we have lots of choices from which to get our information.

Surely, you can find one that spins to your liking.

Each of them offers more objectivity in one day than MSNBC does in a month.

That is a deluded view of reality. Are you even listening to yourself?

I don't claim MSNBC is objective - most of their commentators clearly are not.

But are you actually going to seriously stand by your claim that Fox and Rush Limbaugh are more fair and objective?

    Ludicrous.

Yes many on the right will stand by anything they are told from the right, they will not hear any other views. They reject all common sense as well, they don't hear or see or research anything that is not on the right. They also hate the left but to them it's not hate, to them it's love for their believe system. They judge everyone else, but they do not see they will fall into judgment them self's for it.

Krugman and the New York Times - If both have their way, this country will be swarmed with illegal immigrants and welfare based deficits.

    I despise them both.

    Boy,
that must be a long list of people you despise,

You really need to stop this worthless blabbering, and it is even worse when you try to state this complete bullsh*t as fact.

Palin wants to raise babies? She will have a whole lot of time for that come November.

Obama wants to raise taxes? Yet another ignorant statement that you claim as fact.

It is hard to argue with his reasoning. The GOP has unforgivably glorified anti-intellectualism with its last two standard-bearers (Bush Jr. and McCain). And Sarah Palin? Gimme a break.

Think what you wish about Bill Clinton, he is very, very smart. Same for Carter. Same for Gore. Same for Kerry and Senator Clinton and now Obama. Even Reagan and Bush Sr. seem intelligent when compared to what came after in the GOP.

Personally, I want a president who is capable of methodically breaking down issues, understanding them, and thoughtfully developing solutions. Even better if they don't surround themselves with yes-people and live in a bubble.

This is not to say GOP ideology is inherently flawed. That is a different argument. But due to the stark differences in the candidates, it is barely one we even need to have this year.

McCain is not the right person for our time. Obama is.
