I know many people who grew up around cockfighting in the PI, they didn't do anything like soaking a dog in water and putting 120 volts of electricity through him.

What this guy did is beyond abuse, it's SICK.. Demented SICK.

I agree that people have to ease up on Vick. He should have at least tried to engage in conversation with the man who confronted him or show some concern. But he didn't.

You obviously didn't pay attention to the video.

This wasn't just a "man who confronted him", this is a person still trying to rehabilitate HIS DOG!

How nice of you to decide for the people who are still, to this day (and at their own expense) trying to clean up the disaster created by Vick that it's time to "ease up" and "let it go". Just how did you determine that it's a good time to "let it go"?

These kinds of things are usually said by people who do zero volunteer work and zero for their own community -- they engage in nothing but self-serving activities, and from that acquire anti-social and self-serving perspectives.

Here's what happens with you "let it go" - people think it's OK and history repeats itself. This guy exposed himself to the world by asking for workman's comp payments because he has nightmares from the 100+ dogs he killed by shooting their faces off, and some chased and bit him as their eyeballs dragged on the ground because he wasn't always a good shot:

Vick isn't participating in dog fights or maltreatment. He knows not to now. That's what some fail to see. Sure he served time for gambling. But weren't the dog fights tied to gambling?
